Chapter 18(2/2)

Liu Wen, who was eavesdropping outside the door, heard these words, opened the door and rushed into the room. He grabbed Wang Xunrong's sleeves, looked very nervous, and shed tears.

"How do you know she is still alive? Tell me where she is now!"

Liu Wen roared and spoke. Wang Xunrong gritted his teeth and threw Liu Wen away. Wan Wei, who was outside, glared and quickly stepped forward to lift Liu Wen up and take her out of the room. Wang Xunrong stopped her.

"I have lived with you for more than ten years, and I can't even recognize my own daughter."

Wang Xunrong choked up and said these words.

Liu Wen stared at Wang Xunrong in shock, shaking his head desperately, and flashed back to his mind what he had done to that "dead thing" in the past.

"Impossible, impossible."

Wang Xunrong exhaled a cold breath and turned to leave.

Feeling dizzy and unable to stand even after taking a step, Wan Wei quickly stepped forward to hold Wang Xunrong's arm.

She sneered as she spoke. She didn't believe what Wang Xunrong said, but when she saw Wang Xunrong's expression when he left, she collapsed. At that moment, her eyes were full of regret.

"If so, then why didn't you tell me!"

Wang Xunrong walked down the stairs step by step and looked towards the river outside the window next to the stairs. When he looked at the river, he recalled the scene of him and Haitang at the beach. His eyes were full of regret when he looked at the river.

"I'm afraid that she can't live without you, and the only thought she has left for me will be gone."
