In the Song Dynasty, the royal family personally gave the plaque "Lingji Palace", which further promoted the "Immortal Statue" of Erxu.

Zhu Zeng Chensun, a temple in Lingji Palace in the early Ming Dynasty, took advantage of the opportunity to treat Emperor Yongle and "introduced" the second Zhenjun of Xu to the emperor.

As for Emperor Yongle's illness, according to historical records, he was always troubled by rheumatism in his later years, which has a lot to do with the cold he suffered during his years of northern expedition to Mongolia.

The "prescription" used by Zeng Chensun is most likely the immortal pills refined by Taoist temples. After taking them, the body will get fever, but it will not remove the root cause of the disease at all.

However, Emperor Yongle, who was temporarily free from the troubles of illness, firmly believed that this was the power of heaven. Not only did he build a large Lingji Palace in Beijing, but he also gradually began to develop habits when taking elixirs.

Although Lingji Palace is famous in Beijing, it actually covers a small area and is relatively narrow. After all, it is an inner city and is very close to the Forbidden City.

There are not many buildings in Lingji Palace. Behind the mountain gate are Tianshu General Gate and Dachanwei Gate. Continue to walk in and you will see the main hall Xuandu Hall and the sleeping hall Zifu Hall.

However, officials from the Ministry of Rites wrote a letter to object, and the reason at that time was that the Lingji Palace was narrow and it was not suitable to build an imperial temple.
