Chapter 54 Departure (1)

The basement of the castle is dark and damp. The stone bricks on the walls have been stained by the erosion of time, with cracks and water stains scattered throughout. The ground is covered with thick dust. Every step you take will stir up a cloud of dust that fills the air.

.

The ceiling above the head was shaking, and dust and pebbles fell from the cracks, like fragments of the castle's rich history. The zombie heroes seemed to have moved closer to the castle, but no one knew what was happening outside at this time.

In the center of the castle's basement stands the huge conveyor, a complex metal structure surrounded by intricate wires and equipment.

The surface of the conveyor flashes with a faint blue light, exuding a mysterious aura.

Next to the conveyor, stood a green-robed metal man with his arms folded.

"Why did you move the teleporter here?" Susan asked first.

On their way here, Doom suddenly sent a message to her and Bai Ye, asking them to go to the basement. He also said that he had already informed others.

Doctor Doom slowly waved his arm, and the heavy brick wall on the left side of the room made a rattling sound, and then fell down. Dust flew in the air, filled the entire room, and obscured the view.

When the dust gradually dispersed, they found that the exposed laboratory was exactly where Bai Ye had been before. The dilapidated walls, old instruments and scattered documents, everything seemed to be frozen in the past.

Doctor Doom's voice came slowly: "The location of the teleporter has never changed. It was just a blindfold before." There was a hint of pride and confidence in his tone.

"Dum needs your wrong cognition to integrate into the runes here, so as to interfere with the zombies when they attack."

Bai Ye shrugged and said, "Okay, where are the others? Where are the first batch of Latovilians you want to teleport away? We are all here, and they haven't arrived yet?"

Doom raised his hand and snapped his fingers with his metal glove. The sound was particularly clear.

Then many civilians walked out of the depths of the room. Although they looked a little ragged and tired, and each of them was carrying a large bag, there were no other problems.

"I quarantined them here an hour after the crisis began. As I said, Latovilla is immune to this plague."

Looking left and right, the invisible woman frowned and said, "Why are there only...those waiters in the castle? Are you going to let them be eaten?"

"According to Doom's standards, they do not meet the minimum requirements for continuing civilization, but I will not leave them to those monsters. Doom has his own mercy, Su."

In the restaurant, after returning the last chair to its original position, the last greasy plate was washed and placed on the water control rack.

The waiters in black took out a small piece of white medicine from their coat pockets and put it into their mouths without hesitation.

After a few seconds, they began to cough slowly, with the corners of their mouths raised slightly. White foam overflowed from the corners of their mouths, like traces of smiles. Their eyes became quiet and peaceful, and their pupils gradually expanded, squeezing out their irises.

The bodies of the waiters in black trembled slightly, as if they were beating in soft music. They fell to the ground quietly, with smiles still hanging on their lips.

A burst of silence enveloped the restaurant, and the waiters in black lay peacefully on the ground, no longer feeling any pain.

Susan's eyes widened, she opened her mouth not knowing what to say, and finally fell silent.

She no longer had any reason to accuse anyone.

During the conversation, a large number of people poured into the basement door, and they were S.H.I.E.L.D. survivors.

Fury walked towards Bai Ye and the Invisible Woman, exchanged glances and then walked to the teleporter alone, with Iron Man following him.

"How are you preparing the teleporter? The undead army summoned by Mr. Bai has almost been consumed. At this time, those zombies are preparing to break through your last shield."

After walking to Doom's side, Fury asked softly.

Doom still had the same cold look: "The charging has been completed and is being prepared to be released. Just rest assured. Fury, Doom will never make a joke. He will definitely do what he promised."

The conveyor in the center of the room hummed low.

Doom walked over and tapped a few times on the control panel, then waved to the crowd behind him and shouted: "Why don't you leave? Do you dare to ask Doom to wait for you?" His voice echoed in the room, like thunder.

So full of majesty.

The civilians looked at each other, and then a few people came out and quickly stood on the teleporter. They watched in amazement as a bright blue light burst out from around the teleporter, swirling around them like an elf dance.

Then those energies formed a huge vortex, completely surrounding them, and countless tiny light spots floated in the air like stars.

"Stand still and don't move."

The blue vortex continued to rotate, and when it reached its peak, it disappeared with a "pop" sound.

The people in the vortex also disappeared, as if being sucked into another dimension, and the room returned to calm, leaving only a faint echo.

Looking at the disappeared people, Doom turned around and looked at Bai Ye and others: "In order to improve the probability of the continuation of human civilization, each transmission will limit the number of people and reset its destination. After computer calculations, the destination will definitely not be

There are zombies.”

"You may think that Doom is deliberately distracting you, but no, the people of Latovilia will do the same. Each of them carries the basic materials and knowledge to survive even in a barren land.

"

Then he pointed at the invisible woman: "Su, come with me, I will protect you and your family."

Susan was stunned for a moment, then looked at Fury.

The latter sighed and nodded.

"To be honest, I still have something to ask for." Bai Ye suddenly stepped forward and said.

"oh?"

Doctor Doom looked at him with some confusion.

"That's it..." Bai Ye leaned over and whispered softly.

After listening, Doom was silent for a moment, then nodded slowly and walked to the laboratory next door, picked up a few piles of documents and handed them to Bai Ye who was eager to try, and then looked at him deeply.

After taking the documents and flipping through them twice, Bai Ye handed them to the approaching Punisher and asked them to be put into the large backpack that had been carried all the way from the space carrier.

Wanda and Quicksilver walked out of the SHIELD team and stood next to Bai Ye, waiting for him to speak.

The blue vortex kept appearing and disappearing, and the number of civilians in Latovilia became less and less. Soon, only the SHIELD team was left in the room.

Doctor Doom stood in front of the control panel and said without looking back: "Okay, you guys should hurry up -"

The ceiling suddenly shook violently, accompanied by a huge roar. The whole room seemed to lose its balance in the violent vibrations, and the walls were crumbling.
