Chapter 64 Bard(1/2)

In the early morning, a ray of sunshine woke Alison up from her sleep. She opened her eyes and looked at the sky. Then she took back Cinderella's glass slipper, got up and turned into a goshawk and flew to the sky.

The figure in the sky quickly passed by and turned towards the small village. If I hadn't personally experienced the life there, just by looking at it, I would have thought it was a nice place.

The villagers of Robert had not yet woken up, and the goshawk transformed by Alison had already entered her room. She quickly put on her clothes and then lay on the bed to get ready for sleep.

After all, it's not breakfast time yet.

In her sleep, Alison heard a knock on the door. She opened her eyes and called out, and Naya walked in with face wash.

"Good morning, Master Allison." Naya saluted her.

"Good morning." Alison rubbed her eyes and stood up, washing herself under Naya's care.

After finishing washing, Alison walked down the stairs and found that today's breakfast was still rich. Not to mention the daily bread and bacon, there was a small basket of eggs.

Alison looked at the new maid with a smile, "There are only a few of us who will get fat."

"Lord Daniel will come back to have breakfast with you." the new maid said with a smile.

"Really?" Alison was a little surprised, "The Baal Territory has been settled so quickly?"

"Not sure." The new maid shook her head slightly.

Since Daniel was coming back, Alison didn't eat first. She waited for about a quarter of an hour when the sound of horse hooves and the braying of a donkey came from outside.

When Alison opened the door and looked, she saw nearly 200 people coming outside, most of whom had unfamiliar faces. Daniel was surrounded by ten strong farmers and was giving instructions on how to carry it, looking very high-spirited.

It can be seen from the supplies brought back that Daniel gained a lot this time. Alison glanced at the goods on the carriage and donkey cart, turned around and returned to the house, and Daniel, the commander, saw Alison and hurriedly

After explaining a few words, they followed into the villa. After all, they had been busy all morning and they were still hungry.

In the villa, Daniel and Robin were eating breakfast and glanced at Alison from time to time. The latter was a little impatient with their stares, so she asked, "Is Barr's trip going well?"

"It went very well. We made a fortune this time. There are so many good things that are not enough to move." Daniel said quickly, "I didn't expect that we could make so much money selling donkeys."

"Oh, the team is integrating, there is no resistance." Alison glanced at him.

"No, the farmers over there are the kind of people who are wilting even in the weeds. In the end, I didn't want to mix the teams." Daniel shook his head, "But it's still possible to form an army with ten squad leaders. People

They are all from our team, Robert, and they have trained very well."

"That's good." Alison nodded after hearing this.

"Uh" Daniel saw that Alison didn't mean to speak anymore after she finished speaking, and finally couldn't help but ask, "I heard that you went to the Simon Knight's territory yesterday to help Simon Knight handle things?"

"Well, there are two necromancers." Alison nodded. Louis and Cade came over overnight. He had an informant and couldn't hide this.

"do you have any opinion?"

"Of course not." Daniel sneered and waved his hands upon hearing this, and then said with a serious face, "I was just estimating that now that Simon Knight's matter has been dealt with, I won't have much time left here."

"You can just go ahead and send troops after unloading the loot." Alison rolled her eyes at him.

"If we treat them as soldiers, they can't be used as before." Robin on the side shook his head slightly, "The war has just ended, and a small part of the spoils needs to be allocated. Sufficient rest is also a must. At least we can't set off tomorrow.

It’s just that I don’t know if this time is enough.”

"It's hard to say, but Simon Knight worked hard for most of the night yesterday. Those guests are still there, and it may be delayed for another day." Alison took a sip of potato soup and said, "It's just a guess."

When Daniel heard this, he looked at Robin. Robin looked at the bread in his hand and said calmly, "As soon as Simon gets the news from the far-out spies, we will set off immediately to get ahead of them."

"Oh, that's a good idea." Daniel's eyes lit up, "You professionals have more ideas."

"Well, cough." Robin nodded, then looked at him and coughed.

Daniel was slightly startled when he saw this, and then he reacted. He slapped his thigh and shouted out of the castle, "Madir!"

"Here comes my commander-in-chief!" A broad-shouldered farmer from outside broke in. Although he agreed loudly, his eyes were fixed on the bird's egg.

"Tell someone to bring over the most expensive trophy!" Daniel tossed him a bird egg and ordered him.

"Okay, my commander!" Madil opened his mouth to catch the egg, swallowed even the shell, then turned around and ran out.

"Is this your squad leader?" Alison looked at Madil who ran away like a circus, the corner of her mouth slightly raised, "He is very strong."

"But my brain is not flexible." Robin added.

"That's right, I call them the Ten Warriors." Daniel didn't think it was a derogation, but was very proud of it.

After a while, she saw two farmers carrying the huge trophy into the villa. Alison raised her head and asked Daniel in confusion, "Why did you bring the tablecloth from the Barr family?"

The farmer was standing on a huge board with sunflowers painted on it, and the stains left on it while eating could be vaguely seen.

"Tablecloth? No, this is an oil painting, it is art." Daniel blushed and shouted loudly, "It is a priceless treasure and the best trophy I offer to you."

After Daniel finished speaking, he looked at Alison and found that she was not moved at all.

Then he looked at Robin and said, "You are a person who has seen the world. Come and tell Lady Alison the meaning of this priceless treasure."

Robin nodded, then turned around and pointed to the oil painting on the table with a serious face, "This is a painting that praises the creation of all things by the God of Creation. Look at the flower plate, which is like a blazing fire. It is gorgeous, gorgeous and at the same time

Very harmonious, elegant and even delicate, with a sense of movement, the sunflowers are full of original impulse and passion."

With Robin's introduction, Alison's eyes changed from surprise to shock, and finally to shock.

She didn't expect that Robin, a guy with thick eyebrows and big eyes, could tell such lies. If she hadn't gone to Baal Castle beforehand, she would have believed it.

Seeing Alison's shocked expression, Daniel was very satisfied. Educated people are different and can handle themselves well even in front of witches.

"Ms. Alison, should I put this oil painting on your bedroom wall and hang it?" Daniel asked with a flattering look on his face.

"Daniel, actually you don't have to worry too much. I am easy to support. In addition to the necessary food, you can just prepare some nuts and wine for me."

"You can keep this precious trophy."

After Alison finished speaking, she walked towards the second floor.

Watching Alison go upstairs, Daniel and Robin looked at each other in confusion. Finally, Daniel spoke, "Did she find out that this was a fake?"

Robin looked at the oil painting behind him and said, "It's too perfunctory. I told you to wipe it off at the time."

The morning was sunny. After Robert brought back enough food and sweets from the lord, laughter rarely appeared in the village. A group of children ran on the road in front of the villa. After discovering that their parents were useful, they proclaimed themselves the commander-in-chief.

Daniel was not harsh on them either.

"Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding~" A young man riding a skinny donkey appeared in front of the wooden castle. He first saluted Daniel and Robin who were standing in front of the castle basking in the sun, then unfolded the goods on the donkey and picked up the hand crank.

The drums shouted.

"The bard Hal who traveled here last year is here again this year. It's another harvest season. Get your coins ready and come watch Hal's performance!"

As the bard spoke, a beautiful song came from his mouth, and the children around him also gathered around to see this young man dressed like an old turtle dove, grinning widely and singing along with his funny song.

giggle.

The cheerful voice was not far away. Daniel looked there with a smile at the door of the villa, and then looked at Robin with a smile, "Which fool let outsiders in?"

"It should be your top ten warriors. They are the ones guarding the gate." Robin looked at Daniel and shrugged, then turned back to continue watching the performance.

Daniel had a heart attack, but in the end he gave up. He looked up at the bard with Robin. He was very good. He could throw colored balls, perform magic tricks, and recite poems and tell stories. Soon everyone in the village was attracted to him.

, the small stall was immediately surrounded three times.

However, the lord was also watching, and the crowd consciously separated a space for Daniel to watch.

Seeing that the audience was growing, the young poet worked even harder on his performance, imitating the funny characters in the capital, telling honest jokes about what happened to them, telling legends and stories, and finally talked about witches.

"When I was traveling around the empire, I met a witch. She was very beautiful and was sought after by countless young people. She could fly in the sky on a broomstick, reach for stars, and conjure many candies.

.Later, I lived a happy life with the prince in the castle."

"Of course not all witches are so powerful, but I encountered such powerful ones when I was young. Have any of you met witches?" Hal asked with a smile, but the crowd fell silent instantly, and looked at him with a somewhat unkind expression.

, why are you still cursing people while you are acting?

"Aha, I'm just discussing stories. Don't be nervous. I'm a bard, so I collect stories on a regular basis. For example, my previous story was processed through a similar method."

Hal watched everyone take out a lot of candies from the donkey and looked at them with a smile, "Of course I'm not asking for nothing, each story, one candy, what do you think?"

"I know."

A child's eyes lit up when he saw the candy and he immediately ran over. Upon seeing this, Hal immediately handed over the candy and said with a smile, "Say."

"My mother is a witch." The child said with a smile while holding the candy. Hal was stunned, and then saw a skinny woman coming over, picking up the child's legs and throwing him sideways.

"Pang pong pong pong~"

Hal, who was stunned, saw that the child was thrown motionless, and he hurriedly stepped forward and stretched out his hand to stop the woman, "You are kidding, you are kidding, how can I believe the kid's nonsense?"

"The joke is not random." The woman glared at him fiercely, and then kicked the child. The motionless child turned around and ran away with a cry, but he ran back after just two steps.

, picked up the candy on the ground, stuffed it into his mouth and ran away.

The woman glanced at her child, then turned to look at Hal and snatched most of the candy from Hal's hand. She said angrily, "There is a thousand-year-old witch living in Robert's deep forest. Everyone knows about it."

."

After the woman finished speaking, she left.

"I know this rumor too." Hal sighed, then looked at the others, "Do you know the story of the witch?"

A group of people shook their heads slightly.

"Looking at such an outstanding place as Robert's Land, I thought there would be powerful witches, but I didn't expect there was only one old witch." Hal said a little discouraged after hearing this, with a tone that looked down on this place, as if there was a witch in the village.
