Chapter 33 Head Maid
On the uneven country road, Daniel's figure slowly appeared. His steps were straight and fast, and every step was even. The road kept passing under his feet, giving people a solemn feeling.
Alison raised her brows slightly and looked behind him. Several strong figures followed closely. The guards on the left and right had solemn faces, staring at Alison with eyes like wild beasts.
Behind them were the more showy locals, holding grass roots in their mouths and digging their noses, and carrying wooden sticks studded with nails.
Daniel could not help but lower his head slightly when he saw Alison, sweeping the bleak withered grass aside to cover up the murderous intent in his eyes. The two men behind him, who were like loyal dogs, also scanned the surroundings vigilantly.
Alison just doesn't have enough conditions, otherwise they would have to be given the background music of "Kill Bill".
The crowd stopped, and a feeling of desolation swept across. Daniel looked at Alison with a slightly crazy expression, "Witch, what are you doing here?"
"Daniel, I am the head maid of Knight Simon. Watch your words."
Alison threw the parchment, and Daniel raised his arm and caught it with a snap.
"Knight Simon's will is my guide, I have no objection."
Daniel opened the parchment and took a look at it, then threw it aside. He looked at Rooney behind Alison, "But you killed our janitor, how does this count?"
"He deserves to die." Alison said succinctly, "What, do you have any objections?"
"You are the head maid, how can I have any objections!" Daniel grinned after hearing this, "It's just that he is the guard of Knight Robert and is responsible for the gate of the territory. If the head maid beat him to death, who will guard the gate?
The few knight leaders next door have been restless recently."
"I beat him to death because he deserved to die. As for your lack of guards, it was because you were not good at controlling the situation. This is your responsibility."
Alison said, looking at their large number of people, "Even if this is not the case, if I beat him to death, do you have any objections?"
Daniel gritted his teeth when he heard what she said, but he still showed an ugly smile, "What can I say? You cut Puxi into pieces with so many knives. Your name is among the other knights."
It can stop children from crying at night."
"It's just that the two people around me were brothers and sisters with Rooney. He died tragically at his job in broad daylight, which is a bit unjustifiable."
As soon as Daniel finished speaking, the two people around him tensed their muscles, looking like they were going to fuck him at any time.
Alison looked at the two strong men, and the book of destiny began to flip through the pages. It was not until the book was closed that she said, "According to military regulations, he will die without complaint."
The two strong men were stunned when they heard this, and then their tense muscles relaxed and they said with ugly faces, "Rooney is indeed too aggressive."
When Daniel heard this, he raised his brows and tilted his head slightly to look at the two of them. However, seeing the two people's lack of confidence, he suddenly changed his smile.
"Master Maid, welcome to Knight Robert's territory. I asked Lord Knight to ask for people before, but he just wouldn't let go. Now that you're here, it's great!"
Seeing his insincere expression, Alison couldn't help but sigh slightly, "Don't complain so much when you're not strong enough. It's useless for you to complain."
"No, no, how could I complain? I sincerely welcome you!" Daniel smiled hard, his muscles stiff and his gums bleeding.
"As a vassal, I will not interfere with the operation of your territory, and you can come to me when you need help. But one thing, don't make me displeased." Alison looked at the group of people.
The farmer, who still wanted to point his finger at him, lifted Rooney up and said, "Do you think these arrows are enough to kill you?"
Seeing the crossbow arrow that penetrated Rooney, a group of people were moved. It was not that they didn't have crossbow arrows, but they were definitely not so powerful.
"Speaking so bluntly, whenever I change my mind, I will kill you as soon as possible."
Daniel's teeth almost broke when he heard this. As the first person among the knights, who independently controlled a knight's territory, he actually had a father. No one could bear this.
Even though Daniel had seen her horror.
Nodding slightly and agreeing to Alison's words, Daniel seemed to have lost his dignity. He turned around like a hero at his twilight, pushed away the crowd and walked back.
"Daniel, where is my residence and how will we prepare dinner?" Seeing that he was about to leave, Alison asked aloud.
Hearing this, Daniel finally had a smile on his face. He slapped the farmer who was chewing grass roots on the face, and then asked, "What have you been eating these days?"
"Grass roots, if you are lucky, you will dig bamboo shoots and insects." The farmer replied in confusion.
Daniel was very satisfied when he heard this, and then asked, "Where is the food for our autumn harvest?"
"On the day the knight left, he was taken away by Amadou." The farmer blinked, "You all know this, sir."
"Is there any question if I ask again?" Daniel slapped her face when he heard this, then turned to look at Alison and smiled, "Maids, did you hear everything clearly?"
"I heard clearly." Alison nodded, and gave herself a pan with An Bai, so that she could survive in the wilderness and become a cook.
Although she felt that Daniel definitely had food, she couldn't be shameless enough to ask for it after the other party said so.
So Alison asked the grassroots farmer directly, "Do you have any fruit trees here?"
"Yes, but there are no fruits." The farmer said honestly, "We have eaten all the fruits in the past few days."
"What will you eat if there is no food?" Alison asked.
"Drink water." The farmer took it for granted.
"Aren't you afraid of starving to death?"
"You're welcome, even when there is food, there is no one left alive."
Alison frowned slightly when she heard this, "What about the child? You always have children, right?"
The farmer sighed after hearing this, "I ate that one during the severe drought the year before last."
Alison blinked after hearing this, and looked at the farmer who sighed honestly, took out the crossbow, and pulled the trigger.
When Daniel and the people around him saw Alison taking action, they all hid aside. When they looked back, the farmer had become a scarecrow.
Scarecrow at the shooting range.
"I'm sorry, I can't stand his accustomed tone. Even if you steal or rob, it's not shameful, but at worst, you'll lose your life." Alison, with red eyes, took back the crossbow, "This life is worth living.
Means nothing."
"Mrs. Maid, they are just a bunch of useless serfs. What's their life? Please calm down." Daniel looked at Alison and said with a smile, "Actually, he was just joking."
"Are you kidding me?" Alison glanced at him sideways after hearing this.
"Absolutely not. Everyone knows that old Bo Ke is a bachelor and has no wife, so how can he have children." Daniel greeted him with a smile, and then said seriously, "Are you guilty?"
