Chapter 9 The Crown Prince is Mighty

Yue Yang looked at the shell gun in Zhu Cixiang's hand and shook his head:

"Reporting to Your Highness, I have never seen it before."

Gao Wencai scratched his head and said with a smile:

"Your Highness, could you please take a look at it?"

"sure."

Zhu Cixiang handed the shell gun to Gao Wencai. Gao Wencai was more knowledgeable than Yue Yang. He looked up, down, left, and right.

It felt like it was a handgun but I wasn't sure, so I held the shell gun and pointed it at Yue Yang's head.

"No!"

Zhu Cixiang was shocked and reached out to grab the gun. If Gao Wencai accidentally touched the trigger, Yue Yang's head would immediately explode.

Seeing the Crown Prince like this, Gao Wencai and Yue Yang broke away almost at the same time:

"Firegun?"

Zhu Cixiang smiled slightly:

"As expected of a Jinyiwei, he has some knowledge, guessed a little bit correctly, and went to put up a wooden sign thirty steps away."

"As you command!"

Yue Yang immediately went to find a wooden sign and set it up about thirty steps away. Zhu Cihong waved his hand:

"Get out of the way!"

Yue Yang had already guessed that it was a blunderbuss. How could he trust the Crown Prince's marksmanship? He hurriedly moved away from Lao Yuan.

"Bang bang..."

Five gunshots were fired, and the wooden sign that Yue Yang had just erected was hit with sawdust flying everywhere.

Yue Yang hurried over to take a look and saw five fist-sized holes in the wooden sign. He suddenly screamed loudly:

"Hey, I'm firing a volley of fire guns..."

Gao Wencai and others also hurried over to watch. They were all shocked by the Crown Prince's marksmanship and the continuous firing function of the shell gun. They couldn't help but shout in unison to Zhu Cixiang:

"The Crown Prince is mighty..."

"Get out of the way!"

Zhu Cixiang took out another rifled gun, loaded it with Mini bullets, and fired again. With a gunshot, the board was pierced again.

This time, everyone was not only shocked by the Crown Prince's shooting skills, but also even more surprised by the Crown Prince's incredible skill in picking up objects with his bare hands. They all knelt down and kowtowed:

"The Crown Prince is mighty, the Crown Prince is like a god descending to earth..."

Zhu Cixi waved his hand:,

"Ping Sheng, how can you be a god? I am a human being just like you. The firearm was hidden in my robe just now. Don't be so exaggerated, okay?"

The royal guards were not surprised when they looked at the crown prince's spacious dragon robe. They really believed Zhu Cixiang's lies.

Gao Wencai saw with his own eyes yesterday that the crown prince smashed Luo Yangxing to death. It was impossible for such a big hammer to be hidden in his robe.

But when the crown prince said this, Gao Wencai also began to doubt his own eyes. He thought that a child of that age should not be able to lie.

Zhu Cixiang looked at everyone's doubtful eyes. He didn't dare to take out other rifled guns to show off, and said to Yue Yang:

"Let them run around here, and you will take people to Zhongcui Palace in two hours to get the fire gun."

"As you command!"

Without further hesitation, Zhu Cixi turned around and left Long Live Mountain.

Back at Zhongcui Palace, Li Ruolian had been waiting for Zhu Cihong for a long time. When he saw the crown prince returning, Li Ruolian immediately stepped forward to salute:

"Your Highness, Mr. Wen went to the Zhenfu Division and asked for the release of those civil servants. This is the banknote he gave you. Do you want to release them?"

"Oh, so efficient?"

Zhu Cixiang was very surprised. He remembered that the efficiency of the Ming Dynasty's cabinet had always been low. How could it be so efficient today? He took the banknote and counted a total of 350,000 taels.

"Damn it, I'm rich!"

Li Ruolian didn't understand this sentence and looked at Zhu Cihong with some confusion and said:

"Your Highness, do you want to release him?"

Zhu Cixiang smiled slyly:

"Release. Let each of them write a confession and release them immediately. Otherwise, they will continue to stay in Zhao Prison. Then we will give them extra meals! These 50,000 taels will be used by you to develop intelligence."

"As you command!"

Zhu Cixiang was worried that Chongzhen would settle accounts with him after he recovered, so of course he wanted a confession from a civilian to deal with Emperor Chongzhen.

Li Ruolian understood it as soon as he heard it. He secretly felt happy and immediately ordered to leave Zhongcui Palace to deal with the civil servants.

Zhu Cixiang already had 700,000 taels of silver in his hands, and he planned to use 200,000 taels of silver to bribe Chongzhen. This time it was a big deal, and it would be difficult to do business without sincerity.

"Your Highness, Gao Wencai and Yue Yang would like to see you."

Shortly after Li Ruolian left, Gao Wencai and Yue Yang asked to see him, and Zhu Cihong knew that they came to receive the gun.

He walked to the side room and took out rifle ammunition and four shell guns from the system warehouse before letting the two men in.

After the ceremony, Zhu Cixiang took Gao Wencai Yue Yang into the next room:

"These muskets are called rifled guns. You have all seen how to use them. Each guard member has one. No second person should be allowed to come into contact with the gun. The gun must be with everyone."

Zhu Cixiang said and picked up four more shell guns:

"This is a shell gun, used by officers for self-defense. You each have one for Gao Wencai Li Ruolian and Yue Yang. The other Yue Yang is given to the deputy 100 households of the guard. Do not use it except for training."

"Thank you, Your Highness!"

Seeing that the crown prince actually gave them the magical weapon, the two of them couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.

Gao Wencai really hoped that the crown prince could equip all the imperial guards with one, but he knew that this gun was precious and did not dare to ask for it.

Zhu Cixiang also took out the musketeer training methods he had written, as well as the three-stage attack and formation mobile shooting tactical atlas and handed them to Yue Yang:

"The East Palace Guards must be trained strictly according to my method. If anyone cannot adapt or does not train seriously, he will be fired immediately. My guards will not allow such soldiers to exist. Go ahead!"

"As you command!"

The two of them took the order and immediately asked their subordinates to come in to get weapons, and then left Zhongcui Palace.

Time passed very quickly, two days passed in the blink of an eye, and the capital seemed very quiet on the surface these two days.

He will go to court again tomorrow, and Zhu Cixiang decided to visit Yongwei Camp and Jingying Camp before going to court.

When Zhu Cihong traveled, he did not let the Jin Yiwei and the Han generals accompany him, and he did not even use the prince's ceremonial tent.

Surrounded by Hu Bao, Yuan Gui and the East Palace Guards, a group of people rode to the Yongwei Camp.

The Yongwei Camp was one of the most powerful armies in the late Ming Dynasty and was also the forbidden army of Emperor Chongzhen.

Huang Degong, Sun Yingyuan, and Zhou Yuji were all famous generals in the Yongwei camp, as well as the eunuch Lu Jiude and the admiral Cao Huachun.

In the early stage of the Yongwei Battalion, whether it was against the bandits or the Tatars, it almost never lost a battle.

Unfortunately, affected by the general environment in the late Ming Dynasty, Sun Yingyuan died tragically in the end in Luoshan, Henan.

Li Zicheng's army was unstoppable all the way, and the generals surrendered one after another without attacking Ming City.

Only Zhou Yuji defended Ningwuguan with thousands of troops and fought bloody battles with an army of hundreds of thousands of bandits for several days, until the entire army was wiped out and his whole family died in the battle.

Zhou Yuji's tenacious attitude of fighting to the death made Li Zicheng doubt his plan to capture Beijing.

But later the general troops of Datong came to surrender, which strengthened Li Zicheng's confidence.

After defeating Zhang Xianzhong, Huang Degong's troops in the Yongwei camp were ordered to be hunted down by Emperor Chongzhen and failed to protect them in the capital.

When Li Zicheng's troops came to the city, there was no one available in the capital, and the city fell in less than two days.

After the fall of the capital, King Fu was supported to Nanjing to establish the Nanming regime. Huang Degong was granted the title of Marquis of Nanjing and left Luzhou.

Although the four towns in Jiangbei belonged to the Nanming Dynasty, except for Huang Degong, the other three quickly developed into separatist forces.

When Zuo Liangyu rebelled, it was Huang De who led the army to rescue the siege and briefly saved the Nanming regime.

But at this moment, the Qing army moved south again. The remaining three towns each had their own agendas and fell apart in an instant in the face of the Qing army.

Only Huang Degong's location was able to resist temporarily.

Soon after, Nanjing fell, and Emperor Hongguang sought asylum from Huang Degong.

Huang Degong did not refuse, and with his wounded body personally supervised the battle and resisted many attacks by the Qing army.

Unfortunately, Huang Degong was eventually shot and killed by a Qing army. He threw the knife, picked up the arrow and stabbed him to death!

Huang Degong died, Emperor Hongguang was captured, and the Ming Dynasty was completely destroyed.

The Yongwei Battalion of the Forbidden Army, which used to be galloping and good at fighting, withdrew from the stage of history with the generous death of the last general Huang Degong.

If Chongzhen did not send his own forbidden troops away from the capital to suppress the bandits, but instead asked the Yongwei Battalion to guard the capital and wait for reinforcements, maybe the history of the Ming Dynasty could be rewritten, but unfortunately there is no such thing as history. I like the Ming Dynasty, and the heyday began with the prince supervising the country. Please collect it: (www
