"Really?" Harry frowned.

Snape took a deep breath and tried his best to calm down: "I will convince Karkaroff as soon as possible, contact those guys, and find out what they are up to."

Harry thanked him again, opened the door and walked out.

When I walked out of the underground corridor, I looked out through the corridor window. There were thick clouds outside, and after a brief pause of a few hours, it seemed like snow was about to fall again.

Christmas is over and students are facing the backlash of the holidays.

The professors seemed to be in a bad mood and became a little irritable. They were stricter about their studies, and the papers for their after-class assignments were one or two inches longer than before, causing students to complain.

Harry could occasionally see Malfoy in the Great Hall, with his chest puffed out and abiding by etiquette, sitting gracefully at the end of the long table, enjoying food alone.

He would have new injuries almost every day, and occasionally he would be seen getting pranked - these were not caused by George and Fred, who said they had greater things to do now, but by Slater.

His failure to beat Ron made Malfoy completely lose the attention of the Slytherins, and even half-bloods dared to bully him a few times.

At this point, Malfoy didn't behave so vulgarly.

At least he knows how to resist, although resistance often leads to more and bigger "mischief".
