74. Chapter 74 Statement

"My advice is," Richard Lesen said calmly as he looked at the two sitting in front of him, "do nothing, at least within two to three days, just observe the specific changes in the situation."

"That's it?" Frederick, who spoke first, spoke with disbelief in his tone.

"Yes, there is no need to be anything, no need to be on TV, no need to be interviewed, and even if you make a statement to clarify, you must be with Miss Paltrow. You have just introduced Sean's situation, Fred, who is actually not famous now, so unless you get the cooperation of Miss Paltrow, no matter what defense you make, you will be interpreted intentionally or unintentionally in one direction." Lesen spread his hands.

"The unknown man used the Oscar movie queen to hype himself." Frederick sighed, then took over the other person's words and said, and Sean next to him frowned.

"But, Richard, I can't hide like this all the time. I can't go back to the apartment anymore. Now those guys are still staying outside Warner's studio. Maybe they will be blocked at any time. What should I do then?" he asked.

"So I just added two deadlines, at least keeping the low-key state of the present for two to three days, and then things will change." Lesen said.

Fred originally wanted to say something, but Lesen raised his hand and signaled not to interrupt: "I know Miss Paltrow has refused to contact Fred at the moment, but this is only temporary. I have no intention of pursuing what the relationship between Sean and Miss Paltrow is, but if she wants to clarify this matter, she will contact you sooner or later. Even if she refuses for various reasons, her agent will convince her that such a thing must be done with two parties to achieve the best results."

Well, he made some sense, so Sean suppressed his emotions and asked another question: "What about... what about the movie?"

"No need to worry either. After Fred contacted me, I checked some information. If it is correct, "Genius Ripley" is scheduled to be released this Christmas, right?" Lesen pointed to the folder he put aside.

"Yes." Sean made a continued gesture.

"Then you should think that the promotion of the movie should have almost begun," Lesen continued.

Sean and Frederick both showed sudden expressions. The difference was that Sean immediately frowned again, while Frederick knocked his head in annoyance.

"What's going on, Fred?" Sean had to ask.

"It's simple, Miramax will help us with this," the agent shrugged, "they won't sit back and watch you besieged by the media."

"Millamax? Are you sure?" Sean was a little surprised. "Don't forget, you said before that Hoberg would do small moves like such unscrupulously, and there was obviously someone supporting him."

"Yes, yes, I heard it was Harvey Weinstein," Frederick nodded, "But so what? You've finished this movie, and he can't knock it down and choose the male lead to reshoot it. So, if you're besieged or even questioned by the media because of a rumor with Gwyneth, which leads to people having a negative impression of you and implicating the movie, what benefits can he do?"

He said this to increase his expectations: "Do you remember what I said to you? As long as there is a benefit, they will stand firmly on your side. Weinstein and I don't have much contact, but I also know that he is the kind of guy who can go to the table to dance pole dance for the sake of profit. It's one thing that he has a bad impression of you, and it's another thing that the public has a bad impression of you, so he will help you if it's reasonable."

Then Frederick glanced at Lesen, who made a gesture of invitation, so he continued: "So, in addition to continuing to keep not meeting the media, one thing we need to pay attention to is the hype of the tabloids."

"You mean..." Sean touched his chin, thought for a moment and looked up.

"Yes, prevent them from turning your underwear out and making up stories as they think, such as you date Jennifer Aniston first, then hook up with Gwyneth Paltrow, and finally step on two boats, and so on." Frederick raised his hands.

"What to do?" Sean sighed again.

"Just follow Miramax's moves," Lesen took the conversation, "at least they won't let you get too difficult until the movie is released."

"We followed them and took the opportunity to communicate directly with the well-known media to guide public opinion. Richard should be very adept at this." Frederick grabbed his head, and the look of annoyance appeared again.

"No problem." Lesen smiled slightly.

"So, what I have to do now is not to contact the media, wait for Gwyneth to clarify, and then wait for Miramax to use public opinion to promote the movie, is that right?" Sean concluded.

"Absolutely." Frederick nodded.

"Then those waiting journalists..."

"Don't worry, as long as you keep this situation in place, the media will gradually lose interest in you after you and Gwyneth clarify the matter, and even if there are still a few followers, it's not scary." Frederick waved his hand and looked at Lesen, "Then, let's do it."

"Okay, I'll leave first." Lesen then stood up and shook hands with him and Sean respectively, and then left the hotel cafe.

Then, after a few more minutes, Sean left with Fred and took the elevator to the room he booked.

"What did you want to say before?" Sean asked after returning to the room.

"Yes," Frederick didn't want to say it, but he finally spoke, "I don't have to ask Richard for any of these things."

Sean was stunned for a moment, then laughed: "But you didn't expect Miramax's role before, right?"

"I just didn't remember it for a moment, just like you didn't remember sleeping with Gwyneth in Italy." The agent rolled his eyes.

"Okay, Fred, this shows that Richard still has real materials. If this matter can be solved smoothly, maybe I can hire him to do my PR for a long time." Sean said.

"Besides, I still have to watch the media for you now." Frederick shrugged without comment, "You must be careful."

"It's really troublesome." Sean sighed depressedly.

"Since it's troublesome? You can also choose to accept media interviews and tell them openly that you did have sex with Gwyneth." Frederick quipped, then got a middle finger.

This is indeed a way. Maybe it can attract more attention and make your popularity rise a lot. After all, many people like to watch the plot of "The Unknown Guard" as the Oscar Best Actress, but the consequences are...

"So, I only hope that "The Genius Ripley" will be released as soon as possible. Whether it is a good review or not, you will be considered to have a formal foothold in the movie circle and will not be so passive in the future." Fred grinned.

"Let's see," Sean said first, and then asked something, "By the way, Fred, did you say that those guys would turn out my underwear?"

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"Did you forget, age!"

In order to win him the male lead in "The Genius Ripley", Frederick tampered with the file and changed Sean's age by at least four years. If he was posted and exposed by a reporter at this time, it would definitely not be great.

"You said that being turned out before becoming famous and being turned out after becoming famous are different." Sean continued to remind.

"Don't worry, Sean, I have asked someone to modify all the files, and even Weinstein can't find them, and the reporters may not be smarter than him." Frederick patted his shoulder.

"That's because Weinstein didn't spend much effort to investigate. If the reporter went to San Francisco to ask my parents, guess what would happen?" Sean said with some controversy.

"It's a problem, but it's unlikely that the journalists will do it because you're not famous enough," Frederick chuckled. "Their main focus is on Gwyneth. Many things are double-edged swords. There are disadvantages and the advantage, as long as there is no such a mess before the movie is released."

"What if?" Sean refused to give up.

"If? Then pray." The agent gave this answer.

Well, I can only pray. Sean was helpless. As he was about to gain something, this happened. After being disturbed, he became more and more aware of what fame meant in this industry.

But now he didn't think about anything, just hoped that when Gwyneth could react, and then settle the matter together and drag Miramax into the water.

The Oscar actress queen didn't ask him to wait too long. The next morning, she called: "Hi, Sean, how are you?"

"Well... okay," Sean, who had just had breakfast, was a little flattered, "Are you okay?"

"...It's not very good." Gwyneth said so after a silence.

Sean didn't know what to say for a moment, and then said after a while: "Listen to me, Gwyne, this is not my plan..."

Unexpectedly, I was interrupted by the other party before I could speak: "I know, it was not yours. I was a little impulsive after seeing the newspaper, so... I'm sorry, I will ask my agent and your agent to negotiate as soon as possible."

"Oh?" Sean was a little surprised.

"How do you say it?" The other side sighed, hesitated for a few seconds before speaking again, "Say that, if it was really your planner, then you will go in instead of leaving. Anyway... I'm unlikely to refuse."

Sean couldn't help but feel sad. Well, it seems that she has a pretty good image in her heart. Should she be lucky?
