15. Taixue about all beings

Liu Deshi said that he would not say this anymore, and then he pulled Gao Yue downstairs, "Hurry up and find the doctor of the guild and the supervisor, and finalize our C-shaped and T-shaped rooms."

Then the two of them closed the door and turned to the Yi room at the corner. Gao Yue saw a student sitting upright on the mat inside, hunching his back slightly, burying his head among a pile of books, constantly copying something.

"This person is hardworking." Gao Yue couldn't help but exclaim.

Liu Deshi smiled, "This man came from the Bohai Kingdom across the sea. His name is Yang Xi. You don't have to pay attention to him. He has gone from day to night and from night to day, and only knows how to copy things."

"What to copy? Is it related to scientific research?"

Liu Deshi shook his head, "This man copied Buddhist scriptures day and night. Like many other envoys sent to the Tang Dynasty, he came to our Tang Dynasty. As long as he had a place to stay, he would rent Buddhist scriptures and buy paper and pen. Then he only knew how to copy and copy them, copy a few large books a year. After the envoys from his country who came across the sea brought the copied Buddhist scriptures back to his country - and continued to copy the next year."

"When will it be copied?"

"I can't copy until I can't copy, just like I'll keep taking the exam until I can't."

At the door of the Yi-shaped room, Liu Deshi answered Gao Yue's questions in a desolate tone, and then turned down the stairs.

Gao Yue also seemed to be touched. He stopped briefly and looked at the Bohai Tai student named Yang Xi in the room: Yang Xi had completely entered a state of meditation and turned a deaf ear to the sounds of the outside world. Under the candlelight as big as beans, his blurry face seemed to be almost stuck to the short desk because of myopia. The tip of the pen twisted and made a monotonous rustling sound, copying the Buddhist scriptures rolled into scrolls. He might not understand the words in it at all, but he still had to burn his life with great perseverance to engage in this humble but sacred work.

In later generations, there may be only four words that are lightly described, "cultural exchange".

The stairs happened to be between the B and A rooms. When Gao Yue walked down, he heard the sound of knocking: the so-called dinner at the Imperial College Hall of Imperial College has begun.

The fight at the gate should have stopped, and the students with bruised noses and swollen faces have returned one after another. It seems that they have won the victory and successfully expelled the foreign picks who were trying to occupy the room and have free meals.

But after Gao Yue and Liu Deshi sat down on the food table next to the left of the stairs, Gao Yue found that there were only more than 40 people coming back and could not fill all the seats.

Because what he had just heard from Liu De’s room was that the Imperial College Hall was appointed to the Imperial College, with seventy people.

"Secret Wang, Dr. Xiahou is here!" With the envoy's shout, the two appeared at the entrance to the dining hall.

Gao Yue estimated that these two should be the management officials of the Taixue Pavilion, so he thought that he could not show his fear, nor could they make them realize that they were time travelers. So he sorted out his soft heads and imitated Liu De's room. He knelt on the mat beside the meal table, and felt that the blood vessels from his butt to his thighs began to be unfluent, not to mention that he was not used to it.

Wang Jiansi was about fifty years old, and his official uniform showed his identity; and Dr. Xiahou should be a doctor of the Imperial Academy, which is commonly known as the "door manager", who is obviously younger than Wang Jiansi, with anger that was full of uncontrollable faces. The dark blue official uniforms were patches. It seemed that his career as an official in the Imperial College was poor.

"The emperor's preface, Siwen Hongyuan. But this happens every year. You have also seen the consequences of the leaders. You have cancelled the qualification for the spring examination and sent the certificates back to their own creditors. I hope to teach you a lesson to everyone here." After all, Wang Jiansi was older and more angry. He stroked his beard and admonished all the students.

No wonder there is no one in the absence of staff. All those who took the lead in fighting were disqualified from the student qualification and were sent back to their hometown.

"Why don't you have a meal yet... There is no need to waste your energy when fighting?" Gao Yue grunted in an impatient tone when he heard the student beside him.

Then the Secretary Wang and Xiahou Zhiguan handled the "re-issuance procedures" for you, and Gao Yue and Liu Defang also went up to submit the document. Xiahou Zhiguan looked at Gao Yue with a little puzzled expression, "Yi Song, do you seem?"

Gao Yue hurriedly lowered his head and stammered for a few moments.

"Yi Song, your voice?"

"I've been infected with some cold recently."

Xiahou Zhiguan stopped asking questions and turned his attention to the back, "Zhang Tan, do you still need to make up for the investigation this year?"

"Change a name, my name is Zhang Tan now." The old man was extremely old and shocked, and Gao Yue looked back and saw that he was an old man older than Liu De's room, probably almost seventy years old, and he was still in a dark green collar, holding a document.

Gao Yue hurriedly made way out of his mind and asked the old man to come forward to make up for the investigation.

Xiahou Zhiguan sighed and took the document from Tan. Gao Yue suddenly saw that the document actually read "Zhang Tan"'s self-reported age, "twenty-one years old".

Later, Gao Yue learned that the years and years of being stranded in the Imperial College were almost as old as Xiahou Zhiguan. During the Tianbao period, he was staying in the Imperial College. After the Tang army recovered Chang'an, he appeared magically again and continued to respond here. He was the number one singular song in the Imperial College. I don't know how many times he had changed his name - "Zhang Tan, can you still remember your original name?" Xiahou Zhiguan asked half-jokingly.

Zhang Tan, who was "twenty-one-year-old" who heard this, raised his loose eyelids, his face wrinkled like walnuts, and he stuck his document to me, thinking about it hard. After a while, he probably couldn't remember it, so he could only answer vaguely, "In short, the surname is Zhang."

"Sangzi has any relatives?"

Zhang Tan couldn't answer at all. Gao Yue understood that even if there were, he would probably die.

Now this dilapidated Imperial College may be the only place where this Tan is floating in the world.

After declaring the discipline of the Taixue Pavilion, Wang Jiansi said that Dr. Su would arrange the "Deer Singing Banquet" for everyone tomorrow in the thesis, and finally wish everyone a good luck this year.

But in fact, most people know that there are about 30 students present who have completed their studies. Among these 30 people, 99% of them are likely to fail the Jinshi exam.

The student who complained that he would not have the meal just now sat back on the seat and said to Gao Yue, "The ten tribute students recommended by Jingzhao Prefecture can win at least eight, and the two tribute students recommended by Huazhou Prefecture can also win at least eight. In addition, the famous people from all states and counties in the world are here to compete. Our Taixue Pavilion is probably going to have another Zhuzhuo Tongshan!" As he said that, the student pointed his finger at his head and made a "bald" gesture.

Gao Yue smiled politely, but he actually knew it: if you win, everyone will win, but with my condition this year, I will definitely not win.

"From Zhou, you..." Liu Deshi over there seemed to be a significant heavy feeling when he heard what the student said, and he couldn't help but complain loudly about the other party's fighting spirit for defeating him.

It turned out that this angry young student was named Wei Cigong, whose courtesy name was Congzhou.
