1927 Lover(2/2)
"Okay, you have the final say. Let me know when you are mentally prepared."
Ding Ning tickled the bridge of her nose lovingly.
"It's so kind of you."
Diba showed a sweet smile and took the initiative to kiss her.
Tuk-tuk-tuk!
Just when the two were confused and infatuated, and about to go off, there was a sudden knock on the door, and Di's mother shouted outside the door: "Deepa, have you gotten up? You've got to have lunch."
"Get up and come out soon."
Diba hurriedly pushed Ding Ning away, looked at his watch, and saw that it was past eleven o'clock. He hurriedly responded loudly.
"How long did you play last night? I don't even know when you came back."
After a while, the two of them finished dressing and came out to wash up. Di's mother was nagging while placing the dishes and chopsticks.
When Diba remembered that she and Ding Ning slept together openly at home, she wanted to find a crack in the ground and crawl into it, her face turned red like a big persimmon.
"I went to sing with Diba and some of my classmates last night. We played late and my aunt didn't get a good rest. I'm really sorry."
Ding Ning apologized sweetly.
"It's not in the way, it's not in the way, young people, just have fun."
Di's mother had a kind smile on her face, and the more she looked at Ding Ning, her future son-in-law, the more she liked him.
Sitting on the sofa and reading the newspaper with his reading glasses on, Di's father was obviously depressed and his eyes were bloodshot. It seemed that he hadn't recovered from the drink at noon yesterday.
"Uncle, I see that you are not in good spirits. Are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere?"
Ding Ning washed up quickly, and when he saw Di's father's appearance, he asked with concern.
"Oh, it's okay. It's been a long time since I drank so much. I'm not used to it. After all, I'm getting older and my health is failing. If I'm going back ten or twenty years, this little bit of wine is nothing."
Dad Di boasted with a smile.
"Come on, you know how to brag. You didn't drink at all when you were young, okay?"
Di's mother exposed her shortcomings without politeness.
Dad Di's face turned red: "I don't drink because I want to protect my throat. It doesn't mean that I can't drink. I have a good capacity for drinking. It's no problem to drink a pound and a half."
"Hey, just blow it. I don't know you yet. The amount is only three taels at most."
