Chapter 17 Overnight

Because of the incident involving Guan Bo and Chen Xiangpeng, we were forced to stay in Baishawan overnight. The principal and the head teacher of the next class were recording confessions, as well as the witnesses who were present at the time. They all took turns recording confessions. Han Nuo was also called.

Anyway, the confessions were pretty much the same. I probably just watched them swimming, but for some reason they disappeared while swimming, and I happened to be away at the time, so I didn’t need to record a confession.

The school rented a house for us to spend the night near Baishawan. I was bored staying in the house alone, so I simply went outside for a walk. I walked to the beach before I knew it, and I saw Sister Jia standing there alone.

Sister Jia is the head teacher of our class. She originally wanted to take a confession, but because she was not present at the time, the police did not let her go.

"Sister Jia, what are you thinking about?" Sister Jia is usually very optimistic, but now I see a trace of sadness on her face. It seems that I haven't seen her smile much since she started coming to Baishawan.

.

"Nothing, Jingling, do you believe there are ghosts in this world?" Sister Jia asked me.

"Um, I don't know." I didn't expect her to ask me such a question.

"What would you do if you knew something bad was going to happen, and it happened to someone around you, but you still couldn't stop it?" Sister Jia said to me with a little excitement.

"Sister Jia, are you okay? What happened to Guan Bo is not your fault. Don't think too much. People's lives are destined by God. No matter how powerful you are, you can't change it. This is fate!" I know!

Sister Jia is sad about Guan Bo, but this is something that no one can change. As the saying goes, the King of Hell makes people die at the third watch, but who dares to keep people until the fifth watch.

"So, what if you can change it?" Sister Jia suddenly looked at me and asked.

"If I have a way to change, then I will never let anyone or anything hurt the people around me, especially the people I care about!"

........................................

"Oh! I'm exhausted. Why are we being asked to record a confession in the middle of the night? You're crazy!"

"Yes, who says it's not!"

"I wouldn't have watched it if I had known it. I'm starving to death. I haven't eaten anything yet!"

Those who went to record confessions were all hungry and tired, screaming. Sister Jia and I also returned to the room. Since we didn’t say we were going to stay overnight, we didn’t bring any change of clothes.

I didn’t bring that much food.

The person who is most in need of food now is Han Nuo. As mentioned before, she almost moved the entire supermarket to her house. When everyone saw that Han Nuo had food, they all came over to get close to her. Han Nuo was quite generous.

She gave it to anyone who asked for it.

Not to mention me, I am her childhood friend and best friend and I have the privilege to take whatever I want.

I looked at the snacks in my hands, and suddenly I remembered that the people who looked at us as fools before might be hungry now!
