62, Chapter 62(2/2)

"Lord Ilsa, have you transferred Alan away from you?" Silius suddenly spoke in the silent atmosphere.

Ilsa nodded: "You already know?"

"Alan told me. He has already set off for the Sunless Sea." Silius' face was slightly sullen, looking less approachable than before.

So fast.

Ilsa thanked Alan silently in her heart, and then said to Silius seriously, "Alan doesn't know the real reason for this matter. He just followed my order. So you don't have to blame him for making arbitrary decisions."

, Anyway, that was my original plan..."

"Why can't I blame him?" Silius suddenly interrupted Ilsa's explanation.

Ilsa was stunned for a moment.

He seems to be very different today than before. Is it because Aram didn't obey his orders? Or is it because she bypassed him, his immediate superior, and directly ordered Aram, which made him dissatisfied?

"This is not Alan's fault in the first place. If you want to blame you, blame me. I asked him to do that. This matter has nothing to do with him." Ilsa raised her face slightly and looked directly into Silius's eyes.

The air suddenly became a little heavy.

Silius looked at Ilsa steadily, her face floating in his amber-clear eyes.

"His mission is to protect you, not to protect anything else that has nothing to do with you." He said softly, "Since he is unwilling to obey my orders, then he is not a qualified knight. The Temple does not need such a person,

He doesn’t have to go back to the temple anymore.”

When Ilsa heard this, her expression suddenly changed. It was the first time she showed such obvious sullenness, and even her usually calm voice became louder.

"What's the matter with you? I've told you that it has nothing to do with Alan, and you still want to punish him? You clearly know that he will do this for me. I think you are not angry with Alan at all, but

Are you angry with me?!"

"You are right, I am indeed very angry!" Silius suddenly grabbed Ilsa's wrist, and the suppressed emotions he had been holding back finally burst out. He stared closely into Ilsa's eyes, with a soft face all the time.

Becoming harsh and angry at the moment.

"You don't take your own safety seriously at all. You knew someone was going to kill you, but you still took my people away. Do you really care about your own life? Or are you not aware of what's going on around you at all?

How dangerous is it?”

"..."

Ilsa was completely stunned.

She thought Silius was just angry at Alan for not listening to him, but now it seems... he was blaming her for not listening to him?
