53, Chapter 53(1/2)
Olivia lay quietly on the dark red goose down bed.
Everything is dark red, like a blazing fire.
But she is no longer burning. She is slowly aging.
The maids didn't know how to persuade their mistress. She still looked very beautiful, and as long as she took good care of herself, she would look no different from a woman in her twenties.
But Olivia's heart was dead. She couldn't accept herself like this.
The maids prepared dinner for her and left the room in awe.
She was alone again in the empty and lonely room.
She was the only one left in the whole castle.
Those young girls left her, Eddie, Iris, they all left her.
They followed the figure of the god and completely abandoned her.
Because she is no longer beautiful? Because she no longer has divine powers?
It's all that woman's fault.
It's all her fault. It was that woman who took away her powers, her beauty, and her son.
She wants to kill her. Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her...
Lying on the bed, Olivia's eyes were red, as if blood would burst out in the next second. The candlelight flickered, and a dark shadow slowly climbed up from the end of her bed.
The shadow swayed and surged in the candlelight, looking as ferocious as a devil. Olivia watched in fear as the shadow slowly took shape, transforming into a slender human form.
"You are worse off than dead right now, aren't you?" The person in the shadow made a low and cold voice that was as elegant and sweet as classical music, captivating the soul.
Olivia gradually saw the man's face clearly: "...It's you! Did she send you here!"
The visitor said nothing and looked at her with a smile.
Olivia's face instantly became crazy and distorted: "It's her! It's her! I'm going to kill her. She ruined everything for me. I'm going to kill her..."
"It was indeed the right decision to come back and see." The visitor sighed softly, "For people like you, living is painful."
"Better rest in peace."
After the words fell, the dark shadow suddenly flowed onto Olivia's bed like melted sludge. The black shadow surged and rolled and slowly swallowed Olivia's body. She didn't even have time to make a sound, and she dissolved in an instant.
It's a pool of sticky flesh and blood.
Finally taking back her second divine power, Ilsa felt that she was no longer what she was before.
This directly resulted in her now feeling much more confident in speaking.
"Lester, I ask you something, and you must answer me truthfully."
There was no response. There was silence in front of the carriage, only the sound of the wheels rolling.
"Lester?"
"What's the matter, Miss?" Lester's smiling voice came over.
"Don't call me Miss." Ilsa emphasized dissatisfiedly, "Let me ask you, who are you?"
"I am your coachman." Lester said lightly.
"..." Ilsa lowered her voice, "I am serious. Please answer seriously."
"Okay." Lester's voice also lowered, with a faint sense of abstinence in his seriousness, "Actually, I am..."
Ilsa held her breath.
"A humble man who is working hard to become your lover."
Ilsa: "…………"
There is no time to talk today.
She lifted the curtain and pretended to jump out. Leicester noticed her sudden move and immediately stopped the carriage and blocked the carriage door, looking at her nervously.
"What are you going to do?"
Ilsa: "I'm going to the carriage."
"Why are you going to that carriage?" Lester carried her back into the carriage without any explanation, and then closed the door tightly with a snap.
"I'm going to find Alice and Eddie." Ilsa raised her chin.
Lester's dark eyes gradually calmed down. He looked at Ilsa steadily, with no emotion in his gentle tone.
"Why are you looking for them? Do you feel bored staying with me?"
Ilsa looked back at him unceremoniously: "It's not boring, it's just that I can't feel your sincerity. Eddie and Alice are very real. At least I feel relaxed when I'm with them."
Lester asked with a half-smile: "What do you think is true?"
Ilsa: "It's not like you anyway."
She was always so rude to Lester, partly because of Lester's seeming indulgence.
"Everyone has some little secrets that no one knows," Lester said slowly, "just like you."
"You have a secret, and I also have a secret. Just because of this, aren't we real?"
Ilsa was unmoved: "I am real, you are not real."
There are so many beeps, how about playing tongue twisters with her?
Lester held his chin up and looked at her at leisure, "Why?"
Ilsa: "Because my secret won't hurt me, but your secret might hurt me."
Lester shook his head, "After all, you still don't believe me."
Ilsa didn't speak, but the expression on her face clearly said "Yes, I just don't believe you."
Lester stood up helplessly, with a ferocious black shadow surging beneath his feet. Ilsa stared at him warily. After seeing clearly what the black shadow had transformed into, her expression slowly changed from wary to
sluggish.
"What...what is this?"
The black shadow disappeared, and a fluffy, round, dark coal ball appeared at Lester's feet. As if in response to her, the coal ball blinked his bright eyes, opened his mouth and let out a thin cry.
Low cry——
"Meow-"
Ilsa's heart melted on the spot.
It’s a cat!!!!!!
The dark kitten stretched out its front paws tentatively, tilted its round little head towards Ilsa, and then jumped lightly under Ilsa's loving eyes, accurately jumping into her arms.
.
Ilsa felt that her life was worth it.
She hugged the furry little guy and couldn't put it down, obviously forgetting the existence of Lester. Lester leaned over and touched the kitten's head, and told her in a low voice, "This is mine...well, it's my first wife, I guess.
My senses are connected to it, and if you catch it, you are equivalent to grabbing my life gate."
Ilsa raised her head in shock: "Why did you give me such a thing?"
Lester shrugged: "To reassure you."
Ilsa was speechless for a moment. She looked down at the kitten, then looked up at Lester.
Although I don’t know if this is true or not, this cat really does look a bit like the boy Lester is now...
Ilsa's mood was a little complicated. She touched the kitten and wanted to give it back to Lester, but she was reluctant to let it go.
Perhaps seeing her hesitation, Lester chuckled. He leaned over slightly and whispered in her ear, "Don't worry. I won't hurt you."
Ilsa's eyelashes trembled slightly.
The convoy kept on running, and finally returned to the place where the team first gathered before midnight. Ilsa searched around and found that Constantin was not there. She tried calling again, but still did not get any response.
This guy is completely disconnected.
Alice resumed her girlish appearance. Except for Ilsa and Lester, no one knew his true gender. Eddie temporarily hid in the dark to prevent Alan from having unnecessary doubts about his existence.
Since the twins are already Ilsa's people, she has no intention of sending them out. The underground organization's affairs will be dealt with. The missing girls are evidence, but the real leader of the organization has been replaced by Ilsa. Ya
Although Lan was very puzzled that this matter was resolved so quietly, as an accompanying tutor, he did not intend to investigate further except for impartial grading.
After all, this is not his job, Ilsa's safety is the most important thing to him.
"Ah...is this what it feels like to win by lying down?" Someone in the team couldn't help but sigh.
"What a waste! We didn't do anything, so we won't get any points!"
"What the hell? But the mission is over?"
The students in the team suddenly became restless, and Alan calmly came out to calm them, "Don't worry, the mission is not over yet. Glenn and Nina haven't come back yet. The college's location shows that they have gone to the United Kingdom of Gap. No.
If there is an accident, we have to set out to find them tomorrow."
To be continued...
