Lester glanced at him faintly: "It's not you who went in with Ilsa. Why are you happy?"
"..."
Constantine stopped laughing immediately.
As the night got darker, the originally lively voices gradually became quieter. Soon the oil lamps in the tents were extinguished one by one, and the forest became silent and solemn.
Ilsa finally finished writing her notes for today's experience. She put away her pen and paper and found that Alice, who had slipped into the silk quilt, was staring at her quietly like a doll with her beautiful purple eyes open.
"Alice, what's wrong?" Ilsa asked.
"It's nothing, I just think..." Alice pulled the quilt under her eyes, her silver eyelashes flickering silently, making those eyes even more beautiful, "You are so beautiful."
"..." Ilsa blushed in embarrassment, "You too."
"No, your good looks are different from ours." Alice sat up and held Ilsa's hands softly, "My dear, I'm really afraid that my brother will see you."
elder brother?
Ilsa was a little confused, and then remembered that when she and Alice first met, Alice did mention that she had a brother.
"Why? Doesn't your brother like you making friends?" Ilsa tried to guess.
"No, he never interfered with my social life." Alice stared at Ilsa in rapt attention, her face reflected in her clear pupils.
"It's just that you are so beautiful. I'm afraid that he will take you away from me." Alice asked softly, "Ilsa, promise me not to go with my brother, okay?"
Ilsa vaguely felt that Alice was a little worried about gain and loss. She had never met her brother, how could she leave with him? And...
She wanted to think more deeply, but the scent of water lilies coming from Alice made her a little sleepy.
"Okay, I promise you." Ilsa nodded and yawned widely, "Alice, it's getting late, let's go to sleep."
"Okay." Alice lay back obediently, with a slight smile on her lips, "Good night, my dear."
