The Golden Dragon GD-10 battery mentioned by Professor Zhao Jiefeng is the internal code of the high-energy battery invented by the Duke Robot Project. Now the battery R&D team is listed as a sub-project code-named Golden Dragon under the Qianlong Project. Its main research directions are two. The first is to work hard to improve the problem of the original model's low-temperature working performance degradation too quickly;
The second aspect is that the project team needs to study new production processes. On the one hand, it is to see if it can effectively reduce production costs. On the other hand, it is to produce different models of various weights, such as 50 kg or 100 kg large-capacity battery cells. These are used as submarine battery pack replacements. In addition, some battery cells below 10 kg are also needed to be produced, which are prepared for small equipment such as field independent communication nodes or monitoring nodes.
The model that was set as the Golden Dragon GD-10 is the original 10-kg 12KWh battery cell test sample of the project team. Currently, this battery cell is used to support the mechanical fish with an existing power of about 200W brought by Professor Zhao Jiefeng, which is theoretically enough to support 60 hours of work under full load. If the power drive of the model fish is turned off and the communication relay function is only activated, it can support more than 200 hours.
This performance parameter is very close to actual combat requirements.
