Apologetic closing remarks
Well, 2.5 million words, nearly 800 chapters in one and a half years, and the final story is still not very satisfying.
I would like to apologize to readers who have been looking forward to it. We did not come up with the best story, nor did we complete all the expected stories.
The reason seems to go without saying. When it was put on the shelves, it had 800 first orders out of 10,000 collected, and the results were so bad that "I really lost money writing the book."
We tried our best to support it, just because this story that we put a lot of effort into should not end like this... But obviously, personal wishes cannot match the market. I gritted my teeth and persisted all the way, and only reached the third level of the premium line.
Thousands of orders.
I have thought about the reasons a lot, but the most obvious one is that it is probably not "direct" enough. I used dozens of posters in the opening, using the trick technique of "the protagonist is the murderer" in detective novels, hoping to be able to have the impact when the truth is revealed.
We hope to give readers the best reading experience.
I don’t know how the experience will be, but it seems that the readers are gone, and I almost lost it. Here, I would like to thank all the readers who are willing to read this extremely willful book.
"Write a big volume first and see if there is any improvement. There are so many stories, so the rest of it should be exciting."
"Write a million words first, maybe some readers will like it."
"...At least, finish writing a few core parts of the outline. At least the story has a beginning and an end..."
The bottom line is broken through step by step. We are "arrogant" and think that there will always be people who like such complicated, complicated and circuitous stories. Obviously, we are wrong.
There is nothing to say. The market is not wrong. The only fault is the storyteller. If he fails to provide readers with a better reading experience, they will naturally not pay the price.
Thank you all for following me all the way. Even though this book has many flaws and problems, we can only say that we did it seriously, wrote it, tried it, and failed.
Sorry, everyone, for not giving you the best story.
Thank you, everyone, for your support, which allows me to keep trying to give readers a new reading experience.
That's it, let's sort it out and see if we can start again.
If there is a new book, it may be about 10 days a month, and it may be on Squirrel's account.
If it takes too long, I might write something about the Crazy Knight. It’s time to give him an ending.
If there is a new book, it should be simple and marketable.
So far, apologies and thanks.
Angry Squirrel/Persimmon Whale.
