Chapter 2 Quiet Night Thoughts

As the moon clears its mind, it is approaching the gate of the Golden Chan School's small Taoist temple. You will see the red lacquer gate in front, white walls and black tiles, and blue bricks paved with antique flavor. It is a unique sense of smallness, exquisiteness and elegance that is unique to the south.

Yue Qing stood still, her body trembled and bounced slightly, and a gentle force blew. The grass chips, dust, and insects on her body were immediately sent away by a breeze.

Now we enter the door, walk through the middle hall, enter the inner room, and step into a single room. The room is separated by wooden shelves, divided into two parts, inside and outside, and the layout is very elegant, including futons, tea sets, incense burners, calligraphy and paintings, etc.

On the red painted wooden chair outside, a middle-aged Taoist priest wearing a white Taoist robe and a kind-faced look was sitting at Yueqing with a smile.

Yueqing immediately stepped forward and said, "Master, the disciple is here."

When Taoist Master Ziling saw Yueqing coming, he nodded slightly: "Okay, sit down and talk."

When Yue Qing heard this, she sat down and smiled and said, "Master, what's the matter? Why are you in a hurry to ask my junior brother to call me back?"

Taoist Master Ziling smiled with his eyes, "Yueqing, you have been going up the mountain for fourteen years, right? You have now achieved great success and have entered the realm of transformation. You can get out of the army and walk down the mountain, and see the scenery of the mountains and the humanities in various places?"

Yue Qing was silent for a moment before replying: "Although my disciple also has this heart, he has just reached the realm of transformation and his strength has just penetrated into his bone marrow, and his internal organs are only a small achievement. He has not yet realized the Samadhi of the Middle. He still wants to stabilize it for another year. Please give a clear explanation."

When Taoist Master Ziling heard this, he brushed his sleeves and a hint of regret appeared in his eyes: "That's the case, then you can make arrangements for yourself."

He took out a small copper lock from his arms, with the word "光" engraved on it, and held it and handed it to Yueqing.

"However, if possible, it's better to go home after going down the mountain. It's good to go and have a look."

After hearing this, Yueqing stepped forward to take it and sighed: "Master, I was sent out of the house when I was two years old. Thanks to God's blessing, I have met my mentor and I was carried up the mountain by you. It has been so long since then, and I have few contacts in normal times. How can I go back now..."

"Since my biological mother died early since I was young and was sent out of the house. After many years, I have not had much contact on weekdays. The cause and effect of the world has been almost gone, so why bother to cause and effect and increase both sides' troubles?"

Yueqing looked at the black tiles on the roof and then said, "At most... I will help them add more wealth in the future and give me some cause and effect of birth."

The master and apprentice couldn't help but look at each other silently for a moment.

"Ah... the cause and the fate are destroyed, and you are the result of yours, and you are the result of yours..."

Ziling waved his hand: "Yuexuan told me before that he wanted to go down the mountain with you, I want to ask you what you think."

Yue Qing pondered slightly and replied respectfully, "Yuexuan has grown up, so it's good to go out for a walk."

"Since that's the case... you two will go down the mountain together next year. You have been smart and precocious since childhood. I can rest assured if you take care of you."

"Tomorrow, you should take Yuexuan to Qingxu Gate to stay for a while. Before the meal, Zihui sent a message saying that she wanted to teach his homework."

“Yes, Master.”

"By the way, master, before..."

Bang!

"This little bastard! Look at me not educating him!"

Zi Ling took back his hand that was slapped on the table and was a little angry. How could Yue Xuanjing learn these from the Internet?

Yueqing was startled and smiled embarrassedly: "Master, am I going back to the house now?"

"Go, when you see your junior brother, you will call him over."

Yue Qing twitched his lips, responded, got up and went out, closed the door with his backhand, and went back to the house.

‘Hey… I’m afraid it’s in danger…’

……………………

Go out and walk east for more than ten steps, pass through several flower beds, and the side room to the east is where the two brothers live. The room is close to each other, which is quite convenient for the response.

At this moment, I saw the bright lights in the house. I knew that Yue Xuan was in the house. Yue Qing raised his voice: "Little junior brother, the master calls you to go!"

"Haol, Brother Senior received it!"

Listening to the response from the room and with a little excitement, Yue Qing shook her head and walked into her house.

The interior of the house is simple. In addition to daily use, it is all kinds of herbs, medicinal wine, and many books required for practice. A cabinet is full of various books.

In his spare time, he also likes to read some miscellaneous books to adjust, and he is quite tempted to be unable to put down the volume. "The Legend of the Swordsman in Shushan", "The Legend of the White Snake", "Detailed Talk about the Three Kingdoms", "The Creation of Heavenly Mandarin", "Logics"...

Yueqing walked to the desk, took out the ocarina from her arms, took a bottle of alcohol, wiped it carefully with a cotton cloth, and put it in a small box after it was drying slightly, so as to prevent collision and scratching.

Then he opened the drawer and put the ocarina into it. There was also a green bamboo flute and a harmonica inside. It was also something that he had calmed down in his daily leisure time.

‘Talk about it… I came to Guanli eight years ago. My parents died early. I was pulled by my grandfather since I was a child and was sent up to the mountain at the age of seven. However, he has a lot of knowledge about his family. He has learned a lot of skills in Peng’s Tai Chi since he was a child. He is actually a miserable person…’

‘And I, this is... the Lone Star of the Tiansha in Two Life...’

Yueqing took off her shoes and socks, sat on the bed, washed it before going out, and was blown by the night wind, and she didn't feel sweaty. She immediately leaned inward and sat cross-legged in meditation.

He imagined himself as a bowl of turbid water, quiet down, the impurities in it settled, and the water would become clear and transparent.

This is the technique of cultivating the mind, "a bowl of water method".

This method was seen in his previous life, and he used it to practice in this life. He added some Taoist things to it, and combined it with it will make it more beneficial.

After a long time... he stood up and sighed: "Life is like a flash of time, suddenly... so short and so fast."

Yueqing got up and took an oil lamp from the desk, took off the lampshade, put the lamp on the bedside table, and then sat cross-legged on the bedside bed, facing the lamp.

He looked directly at the wick with his eyes, focused his energy, as if he wanted to light up the lamp with his eyes. This is the ancient Buddhist practice, the "lighting lamp method".

Legend has it that lit a lamp with spirit, which means that your practice has reached its peak.

Of course, this is unrealistic. It is only recorded in the Buddhist scriptures that Sakyamuni obtained from the Lan Deng Buddha.

It is impossible for a human spirit to light a lamp out of thin air. What you practice is to gain this artistic conception, the way of martial arts, and the lights are passed down from generation to generation and will never be extinguished.

The warrior must light up the lamp in his heart.

There is a breath, and there is a lamp.

The ancient martial arts have been constantly extinct. No matter how things change in the world, there is always a group of people who adhere to their true hearts and remain unmoved and unshakable.

I still remember that in ancient times, our ancestors broke through all obstacles, trampled through mountains and rivers, fought against ferocious beasts, protected their homes, and continued to improve themselves and passed down from generation to generation.

On the road to seeking the Tao, we will continue to follow each other, and we will be in harmony with each other...
