003 Every family has a hard-to-read scripture

Fang Mu looked out the window quietly, immersed in his thoughts, but Xia Hongyu next to him quietly looked at him, just a little curious.

This boy who looked a bit pretty but inconspicuous in the class seemed to behave abnormally today. He talked back in English with the teacher in class and his skillful smoking movements were completely different from the usual ones. Even from the eyes he had just looked out the window, Xia Hongyu actually read a hint of vicissitudes of men only at the age of his father.

Strangely, why did she suddenly become so interested in a male classmate? She rarely did this normally. Xia Hongyu suddenly felt a little uncomfortable, turned her head and looked out the window.

"I'm here to the station, see you tomorrow." Xia Hongyu looked at the vehicle and stopped slowly again, and greeted Fang Mu, who was still stunned outside the window.

"See you tomorrow." Fang Mu came back to his senses and quickly moved away. When the car restarted, Fang Mu remembered that he would arrive at his home at the next stop.

Fang Mu's home lives in a very ordinary residential area. After getting off the car, he walked into the Lotus Alley with his memory. He turned a corner and saw a dilapidated four-story family building made of red bricks. When he went up to the fourth floor, he was about to knock on the somewhat mottled green painted door when a quarrel suddenly came from inside.

"Who is as unpromising as you? Look at your classmates, they are all directors, at least they are also section chiefs. You are still a clerk, and you will be considered a bad life with you." A somewhat sharp female voice rang in the room.

"Who took the initiative to live with me?" The man's voice seemed a little weak.

"Oh, you said that I am here. I'm blaming me. I've read the wrong person. I can't live this life. Divorce!..."

Fang Mu hesitated for a moment. In his memory, the noise accompanied him through his youth. Until the day after the college entrance examination ended, the marriage between the two parties, which had been quarreling for several years, finally came to an end. Fang Mu still clearly remembered that on the night of the college entrance examination, his mother who had always loved him left this family and never came back.

When he was young, he didn't understand the grievances between adults, but he just felt extremely bored. This was one of the reasons why his grades gradually declined in high school. It was not until he got married that he realized many of the helplessness in his marriage, and in the end his marriage ended up with the same ending as his parents.

Life is so amazingly similar.

Hearing the quarrels in the house getting louder and louder, Fang Mu couldn't help knocking on the door, and the sound stopped immediately. The door opened, and a middle-aged woman with short hair appeared at the door. It was Fang Mu's mother, Liu Meilan.

"Mumu, is it after school? Look, my mother has made you your favorite food." Liu Meilan's voice became gentle, and she pulled Fang Mu into the room with a smile, not at all the fierce voices like the quarrel just now.

Fang Mu walked into the house. It was a two-bedroom and one-living room. The living room was not big. There was a circle of old cloth sofas by the wall. There was a TV cabinet opposite, with a small TV set on it. In front of it was an old-fashioned coffee table, with steaming food on it.

"I know you are tired from school, so I asked your dad to buy some meat and vegetables on the weekend. Look at the refried pork, spicy tofu, and scrambled eggs with tomatoes... This is what my mother cooks for you in the kitchen." Liu Meilan said with a smile on her face.

"Why are you still standing there? Have a meal?" Fang Mingshan, the father of Fang Mu next to him, also urged.

"Well..." Fang Mu agreed, went to the bathroom to wash his hands and sat on the sofa. Liu Meilan put the bowl of rice in front of Fang Mu, and skillfully picked up the meat for him.

"My mom and dad, you guys eat too." Fang Mu saw that there were already a lot of meat slices piled up in his bowl after a few seconds, so he said.

"You are now growing up and you have to have a good meal. The high school course is so hard..." Liu Meilan kept muttering, still holding meat and vegetables for Fang Mu.

Seeing that her mother loved her so much, Fang Mu felt moved. The slightest discomfort at the door just now disappeared.

Maybe she is not a good wife, but she is definitely a good mother.

Fang Mu thought, and started to eat the food with a big mouthful. The three of them had no tension in the room just now, and the whole family seemed happy.

Fang Mingshan asked Fang Mu about his studies in school, while Liu Meilan focused on asking if he could eat enough in school and whether anyone bullied him... and told Fang Mu to be careful of his health. Fang Mu had to be vague and nodded in agreement while eating.

After the meal was finished quickly, Fang Mu stood up and was about to clean up the dishes, but was stopped by Liu Meilan and said that after you go back to your room to rest, you will review your homework later, and you don’t have to do these jobs. Fang Mu had to go back to his room.

The room was neatly tidy, but Fang Mu knew that it was all due to his mother. He was very lazy when he was a teenager, until he met her in Donghai City - his living habits changed drastically for her.

Fang Mu sat on his bed, looking at the room, and a poster was posted on the wall at the head of the bed - it was Cui Jian playing the guitar with his eyes covered in red cloth, wearing his iconic green old military uniform, full of the restlessness of this era. There was also a red kapok guitar hanging next to it, with some dust falling on it. Fang Mu remembered that this guitar was bought by his father when he was in the first year of junior high school. Since he heard that Cui Jian had nothing, he has become obsessed with the guitar, but he has rarely touched it since he entered high school.

Take off the guitar from the wall, blew the dust gently, and played a few chords. Fortunately, before rebirth, he still had nothing to do and he still often played it after he became an adult, and all this has not been lost.

Hanging the guitar back on the wall, Fang Mu sat next to the desk in front of the window, with a lot of review materials in the room on it. He opened his schoolbag and took out the book, and was suddenly stunned. What homework was assigned today? How did he know?

He was in the liberal arts class, so Fang Mu took the Chinese book and flipped it through it. The book was very clean and there was no reading notes on it. He couldn't help but sigh. He was indeed abandoned in three years of high school, and in the end he was only admitted to one high school junior college.

If you study, you must study hard, but Fang Mu would not be anxious at this moment. Suddenly, he heard the quarrels of his parents outside the room, and he couldn't help feeling a little irritated again.

Fang Mu's father was a third-year-old, and he was lucky to become a college student of workers, peasants and soldiers. After two years of college, he was assigned to work in the Hanhu Municipal Revolutionary Committee. Later, he was changed to the People's Government and became an enviable state cadre who ate public grain. There were naturally a lot of girls who were pursuing it. Among them was Liu Meilan, who was a salesperson in a department store. Fang Mingshan, a scholar, could not stand the pursuit of the beautiful and enthusiastic Liu Meilan. The two got married soon, and two years later, Fang Mu became an enviable family.

Fang Mingshan has been working in the Municipal Urban Construction Bureau. He was originally a clerk, but he didn't expect that this clerk would be promoted for 16 years. Some of his classmates and friends became section chiefs and directors, and some even went to the county to take charge. With the reform and opening up, the life of state-owned department stores has become more and more difficult. The huge gap and economic difficulties have led to Liu Meilan's dissatisfaction, thinking that it was mainly because her husband Fang Mingshan was unpromising, which was the main reason for their quarrel, and eventually developed into divorce. For this reason, he hated his parents.

Fang Mu remembers that he watched a foreign movie when he was in technical secondary school. There was a clip of a young man and a woman getting married. He still remembered the vow freshly.

"Will you marry this man? Love him and be loyal to him, regardless of poverty, illness or disability, until death. Are you willing?"

"I do!"

Seeing these young people, he was moved by this. This is the love and marriage he yearned for. But when he really entered the marriage hall, facing the dull and trivial life and countless temptations outside, he realized that movies will always be just movies, and how ridiculous his thoughts are!
