Chapter 1 Prologue The owner of the house must be a freak

Chu Huan's home is not like a home.

His apartment is not small, but the layout is weird, there is no living room or balcony, a total of one bedroom and one bathroom, and an open kitchen.

The "kitchen" is a place to store refrigerators and dry clothes, and it does not have the function of cooking.

There is a single bed in one corner of the room. The foot of the bed is nailed to the ground, one side is against the wall, the sheets, quilts, pillows and towels are pale. Judging from the size, it is probably for people to sleep.

On the other corner, there is a row of small sofas placed beside the wall. The sofas are sitting one by one on the ground, each sitting stiffly, equipped with the back of the sofa that describes strangeness. At first glance, they look like a group of zombies, who are being punished by an old Taoist priest to squat in the corner of the wall.

From the furnishings here, we can see that the owner of the house must be a freak.

In the corner of the wall diagonally with the single bed, there is a cat crawler, and there are cat rice bowls, litter boxes, etc. A few fresh hairs can be seen on it, which are obviously the pet territory.

The spaces for humans and cats are very different, and it is like a distance between the invisible Chu River and Han Realm. People and cats live in their own way, and no one is in trouble.

Chu Huan's cat is Dami, and the name "Dami" was given by his adoptive father Chu Aiguo.

Before Chu Aiguo gave him the name, Chu Huan always called him a cat.

In response, his adoptive father, who was still childish, raised questions: "If you don't name it, what do you call it when chatting with it? How inconvenient is it."

Such sharp questions always make people speechless.

Chu Huan had no choice but to answer: "We don't usually chat."

Chu Aiguo was very worried when he heard this: "You keep a cat but don't chat with it. Are you a pervert?"

Chu Huan: "..."

He is quite a big man. He sits at home and chats with cats every day. Isn’t he abnormal?

No matter who is more perverted, "Big" later became the new name of a cat. As for what its former name was, no one knows.

The big guy was not originally raised by Chu Huan. Three years ago, its former owner died in the line of duty, but unfortunately he had a braid and had no wife or son, leaving only such a living creature with mixed hair. He was taken back by Chu Huan as an orphan.

Judging from the size, when he brought it back, the big guy was not young. He had a few thoughts about the world and was very good at looking at people's faces. By observing his words and expressions, he understood that his new parents, who don't like the excitement, did not like the excitement, and he kept silent all day long. His range of activities was limited to the side where there was a cat crawling frame, and rarely came to people's territory.

It was around two o'clock in the morning that day, and the owner of the house, Chu Huan, was sleeping on the bed - he was a bachelor, and regardless of his temperament, he was still impeccable in terms of appearance.

In the darkness, the big guy suddenly came out of the crack in the sofa and ran to the edge of the bed with a cat step.

Its flesh cushion was very light on the ground, like a feather falling on the snow, and its footsteps were silent, but when it suddenly appeared and approached, the man on the bed immediately opened his eyes, as if his face was not his ears, but the radar.

Big Moe jumped, jumped to Chu Huan's bedside, and used her paws to push the man's glasses on the bedside to one side, and fell down. One person and one cat looked at each other in the dark for a long time. Big Moe slowly lowered her head, smelled the man's fingers, and licked it gently. Finally, it screamed softly, as if it sighed in twists and turns.

After the cat, the big guy stood up, climbed onto the head of the bed, and then rushed to the top of the big wardrobe, and couldn't see it.

Chu Huan lay quietly without moving, and he felt that the cat was about to die.

Chu Huan is not very clear about what animals do before they die. He has seen many dead people. In fact, humans are also a kind of animals. When death is about to come, there will be a subtle commonality between humans and cats.

He and Dami spent three years together in peace. A few days ago, Dami suddenly started a hunger strike for no reason. Chu Huan exchanged it with several kinds of cat food, but none of them improved its appetite, so he took it to the hospital.

The veterinarian's diagnosis was that there was no disaster or illness, but it was only the life span.

It's too old.

Chu Huan slowly turned over, facing the ceiling with his face toward the sky. Under the glimmer of light from the appliances in the house, his face, which took off his glasses, looked pale and thin, as if he was not very healthy.

After a while of daze, his dispersed gaze suddenly condensed, penetrated the darkness, and shot straight towards the direction of the gate.

The next second, the doorbell rang.

Those who are willing to come in the middle of the night are probably the only uninvited guests.

Chu Huan climbed up quickly, his face was no longer sleepy or surprised. His pajamas were as flat as when he was just lying down. After half a night, he was still not messy. I don’t know if he had fallen asleep or not for so long.

He put on his glasses and opened the door without even asking. He seemed to have known the identity of the person who came. If it weren't for the cold expression, he looked like he was greeting an affair.

The brim of the guest at the door was pressed very low, revealing only a sharp-shaped chin covered with stubble, with one arm.

Of course, it doesn't matter if he has a few arms. What's important is that the man held a gun in his single hand, pointing at Chu Huan with a black hole.

Chu Huan's expression was still. Was he shocked?
