Chapter 2006 2006 Fragmented
Life is born to embrace freedom. No one can bind his broad wings and imprison his life in a cage. No one.
Watching the program team manipulation and Meryl replace Lauren as Truman's companion, and even using Truman's filial piety to his mother to prevent him from pursuing his true happiness; watching the program team play with Truman's longing and admiration for his father, making the "father" repeatedly the inner demons and bonds that prevent Truman from leaving Paradise Island; watching the program team use Truman's trust in Ma Long to make the so-called friendship a tool to hurt Truman and deceive Truman; watching the program team control the false tsunami, pretend to be God, and devour Truman's life with waves after wave...
The indescribable anger surged, causing Leonardo's muscles to tense up. Looking at Christopher, who claimed to be God, was furious and wanted to kill a living life, just to complete a variety show, the fear and coldness of entertainment until death swept over and over, making Leonardo unable to breathe.
Truman, who was lying motionless at the bow of the boat, seemed to have his freedom removed from his vitality bit by bit, and there was a shock that was difficult to express, which caused a storm in his heart. Therefore, when Truman moved gently and began to moan in pain, the vitality that represents freedom to survive made Leonardo unable to help it, and the smile on the corner of his mouth gently outlined.
Truman did it, and he survived the storm of Christopher's self-proclaimed God!
Truman crawled at the bow of the boat in a mess, vomiting constantly, as if he was about to vomit all his internal organs. His amber eyes became blurred. In a daze, Truman untied the cable tied to his body and stumbled around. He couldn't even stand up. As soon as he stood up, his legs softened and fell into the cabin. His forehead hit the deck hard. The focal length that had just gathered in his eyes began to dissipate again.
But even so, Truman still did not give up. He groped and tried to stand up again, then found the cable for the mast and pulled the sail up bit by bit. The pale face that was pale and blood-colored seemed to dissipate in the sea breeze at any time, but Truman gritted his teeth tightly, one after another, even though his hands were trembling slightly, as if a little more force would cause him to collapse, he still used all his strength to successfully pull the sail up again.
The persistent stubbornness shone brightly in the fragile pupils. Leonardo himself did not realize it, but his cheeks were wet with tears. He could not wipe the tears, or even move a finger. He could only open his mouth slightly and look at the Truman who was struggling with the last little strength, allowing his emotions to slowly penetrate.
The sail finally pulled up, and the boat sailed again. Truman sat at the bow of the boat and raised his head gently, letting the sea breeze blow on his face. The scars and bruises on his face did not stop the gently raised smile on the corner of his mouth. His shining eyes were flashing with unprecedented happiness and joy, as if he could embrace freedom by expanding his arms.
Even if you don’t need any words, you can easily impress every soul that desires freedom.
The boat was heading towards the endless horizon, and the blue sky and white clouds at the far end seemed to have no end, but at this moment, the sailboat seemed to hit something, and a loud noise came. The powerful resistance made the unprepared Truman fall directly forward and fall down. Then the boat actually stopped. Truman looked around blankly, and the blue sky and white clouds in front of him seemed to look a little strange. He climbed to the stern with his hands and feet, and then saw the strange scene.
The mast in front of the sailboat actually penetrated a big hole directly in the middle of the blue sky and white clouds in front of him. The black hole did not match the surrounding blue sky and white clouds at all. Truman stood on the mast and looked at the blue color that was so close to him, with confusion on his face. His breathing couldn't help but slow down. He looked around in a daze, as if he didn't know what he should do.
Finally, Truman hesitated to stretch out his right hand and reached out to the blue, but the closer he got, the slower the speed. His fingertips began to tremble violently, and there was almost no way to control it. His palm stopped directly in front of the blue. Truman looked at the shadow cast by his palm on the blue, and his eyes began to tremble slightly, and then his right hand slowly and gently touched the blue.
This is not a fantasy. The rough touch was so real, so hard, and so down-to-earth that Truman felt unprecedented reality. He couldn't help but close his eyes and let out a soft moan. Then he slowly moved his right hand, rubbing the "blue sky" in front of him, but found that it was not the blue sky at all, but... but... Truman opened his eyes again, raised his head and looked at the perfect blue sky and white clouds, but this was not the real sky at all, it was just a wooden wall.
Just a wooden wall?
Truman's amber pupils showed an incredible expression, as if the whole world was beginning to fall apart. He shook his head gently, unable to believe his judgment. Then he tightened his right hand, clenched into a fist, and knocked lightly twice. Such a hard, solid and complete wooden wall, the dull sound hit Truman's heart almost like a hammer.
The punching of his fists was getting harder and harder. Truman even rushed forward and hit the wooden wall with his right shoulder, one after another, one after another... I just hoped to break this constraint and rush to the outside world. But all efforts were in vain. Truman's impact was getting weaker and weaker, and his whole body slowly knelt on the stern deck in despair, his face full of despair as if all the light in the world had dimmed.
But Truman still stubbornly tapped the wooden wall in front of him with his right hand, his strength getting weaker and weaker, but he was still unwilling to give up. In the end, he was exhausted and could only rely on the wall, gently hitting the wall with his head. The helpless and blank eyes were filled with tears, and the surging despair almost squeezed out the last bit of strength in his body. He didn't even have the strength to shout, and he didn't even have the strength to cry. But even so, the palm of his right hand was still gently and slowly hitting the wall, as if waiting for someone to hear his cry for help, and someone could take him out of this bondage.
Leonardo clenched his teeth in a mess, his muscles curled up, and the surging tears kept venting, almost making him unable to breathe. Even though he opened his mouth and breathed in big mouth, the air in his lungs was still getting less and less. All emotions burst out at this moment. Looking at the despair on Truman's face, Leonardo wanted to open his mouth and yell. He wanted to go forward to help Truman. He wanted to break free from the chains on his body, but he couldn't move. The fear, the sadness, and the despair made Leonardo sit stiffly like a mummy, letting his tears break.
Tom Cruise was completely collapsed, and the hot tears caught him off guard. He wanted to look for tissues in a mess, but he was unwilling to let his eyes go away. He longed for Truman to go out, and he was more eager than anyone else. Between the contradictions and entanglements, he could only look at the big screen idly, letting his tears destroy all the defense lines in his heart.
Truman slowly slid down from the mast at the stern as if he was exhausted. Then he found a narrow path along the edge of the wooden wall. His feet quickly stepped onto the ground. Looking at the endless path in front of him, he didn't know where the end of the place would point, but his desperate eyes were filled with hope again, and the light released from his pupils lit up his entire face.
Truman took a step, one step after another.
Truman looked at the blue sky above his head in surprise, the world where he had lived for thirty years, and all the familiar blue sky, white clouds and sea were so strange at this time. His steps were getting faster and faster, and his timid and hesitant steps gradually became firmer with each landing.
Then Truman saw a staircase in front of him, but more than a dozen steps, as if it was a staircase to heaven. Truman carefully stepped on the steps, and every step was so heavy and filled with countless fears. He didn't know what he was going to face, and he didn't know whether he could go to the outside world. If he really succeeded, what would the outside world look like?
The unknown fear made Truman's pace even heavier than ever before, but he still walked firmly to the platform up the stairs, and then he found a door hidden on the wooden wall of blue sky and white clouds.
Without waiting for Truman to react, the door opened directly, causing Truman to take a step back in fear, and then the white clouds above his head dissipated, revealing the appearance of the sun. A voice sounded like God in the sky, "Truman. You can speak, I can hear you." It was Christopher!
Truman looked at the sky above his head, with a mixed look on his face, but his eyes were filled with a firm light, "Who are you?"
Christopher spoke to Truman, "I am a creator and created a highly anticipated TV show."
Truman had a hint of confusion in his sight, "Who am I?"
"You are the star of this show!" Christopher said excitedly.
Truman pointed his chin slightly, but a bitter smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, "Is everything fake?" The light in those amber eyes was so real and fragile.
"You are true! That's why so many people look at you." Christopher said emotionally, but Truman shook his chin slightly, pursed his lips hard, and turned around without hesitation. Christopher hurriedly said, "Listen to me, Truman, the outside world is as false as the world I gave you. The same lie and the same fraud, but in my world, you don't have to be afraid of anything. I know yourself better than you."
Truman was unwilling to turn around and shook his head irritably, "But you can't install a camera in my brain."
