Chapter 110: The Weasley Joke Store

The Weslai Joke Shop window attracts people's attention like a fireworks display.

The display window on the left is full of colors.

There are all kinds of products that spin, twitch, flash, jump and scream.

The window on the right is covered with a huge poster.

It was a picture of George, Fred and John.

Michelle had an impression of this. It seemed that it was taken when everyone went to watch the Quidditch World Cup.

It was just a big group photo at the time, but now George and Fred had cropped out all the other people in the photo.

Only they and John were left, and they were enlarged and hung in the window.

Ordinary passers-by couldn't help but turn their heads and look at the display window.

A few people seemed particularly shocked and stopped in their tracks, looking obsessed.

Michelle, Harry and others really didn't know what to say now.

They stood blankly in front of the store for a long time.

It wasn't until someone behind them complained about them not to block the road that they plucked up the courage and walked into the store.

The store was full of people, more crowded than an ordinary store.

Michelle, Harry and others did not go directly to find George and Fred who were busy, but looked around at the layout of the store.

I saw cardboard boxes piled up to the ceiling. This was the quick-acting skip-a-school candy that George and Fred had just perfected this year.

The reason why Michelle knew this thing.

It's entirely because during Umbridge's "rule" of Hogwarts, many students used this thing to avoid Umbridge's classes.

It seems that the most popular one here is the 'blood nougat', and there is only one box left on the shelf that was crushed.

There are also several boxes of trick wands, the cheapest of which can transform into a rubber chicken or pants with one wave.

As for the most expensive kind, if the user is not prepared, the neck and head will be beaten.

There are also boxes of quill pens, including automatic inkjet, spell check, witty answer and other varieties.

At this time, the crowded crowd in front relaxed a little.

Michelle and others squeezed forward.

More dazzling products appeared in front of them.

"Patented product: Daydream Spell..."

Hermione read the caption on the back of a box.

There was a brightly colored picture printed on the box: a handsome young man and an intoxicated girl standing together on the deck of a pirate ship.

"Michelle, you have to see this!" Hermione exclaimed, "Just by chanting a simple spell, you can enter a high-quality, extremely realistic daydream for thirty minutes.

Can be easily inserted into an average-length lesson at school, is simple to operate, and is absolutely unnoticeable (side effects include a dull expression and mild drooling). Not for sale to children under the age of sixteen."

Michelle also sighed in surprise:

"This kind of magic is really strange!"

"Now that you say so, Michelle, and Hermione." A familiar voice sounded from behind them, "You can take some for free!"

Michelle and Hermione turned to look.

Then they saw Fred standing in front of them with a smile on his face. He was wearing a set of magenta robes, which looked incongruous with his fiery red hair and was very dazzling.

"Hello! Michelle, and Hermione!" Fred smiled and extended his hand, "Welcome to Wes's Wizarding Wheezes! The same goes for other things, you can get some for free!"

"Yes, Harry too."

George, who was dressed similarly, also came over. He winked at Harry first, then glanced at Ron, who was holding several boxes of things, and said, "As for you, Ron...well, there are three Galleons in total.

Nine Sickles, one Nat, please pay."

Ron's eyes widened and he said in disbelief:

"I am your biological brother!"

"Yes, that's true." George and Fred exchanged words with each other, "But brothers settle accounts. This is John's famous saying, and we think it makes sense."

"But I don't have three Galleons, nine Sickles and a Nat!"

"Then you'd better put the things back and remember not to put them on the wrong shelf."

Ron was furious.

If you curse, you have to put everything back.

But Hermione frowned and said:

"Wait! George, Fred, when did you start using John's words as famous quotes again?"

Ron reacted after hearing this, stared at George and Fred and said:

"That's right, and what's up with the poster at your door?"

Michelle was also confused and said:

"George, and Fred, I remember you said you were going... to gather strength to overthrow John? But now why... why did you open a joke shop?"

The questions from Michelle and others stunned both George and Fred.

And it's not just George and Fred.

When the other guests heard this, they immediately turned their heads and looked at Michelle and others with strange, half-smiling eyes.

The entire store suddenly became much quieter.

This weird atmosphere finally made George and Fred react.

They seemed a little nervous.

Seeing Harry's mouth open, he seemed to want to say something.

They rushed over and covered Harry's mouth.

"I beg you, please don't say it again!"

George and Fred said anxiously, "Even if you want to say it, don't say it in public! Come on, follow us to the back of the store!"

After saying that, George and Fred took Michelle and others and ran back.

While running, he shouted to a young witch with short blond hair behind the counter:

"Verity, I'll leave the outside to you! We need to entertain some special guests here!"

Michelle heard the young witch respond silently, and then she was dragged into a dark warehouse.

After hiding here, George and Fred were obviously relieved.

But Michelle and others were completely opposite, their expressions suddenly became extremely serious.

George and Fred's overreaction reminded them of many bad things.

For example, two brothers, George and Fred, could they have been coerced?

Or could it be said that the entire people in Diagon Alley are being coerced?

So although the entire Diagon Alley looks very lively, in fact, it is all an illusion created by high-pressure rule and force?

Or think about something even worse.

Could it be that George and Fred were bribed by John to instigate rebellion?

Countless bad ideas are spreading crazily in the minds of Michelle and others.

Ron finally couldn't bear it anymore.

"What the hell is going on?" Ron asked loudly, "Please tell me clearly!"

Hearing this, George and Fred's faces turned red quickly.

The two of them were squirming, looking like they didn't really want to say anything.

But facing the probing gazes of Michelle and others, Fred finally sighed and said:

"Okay, I can tell you."

George immediately answered:
