Chapter 92 Lihen Bookstore

Draco ultimately failed to convince Lucius to go to the Quidditch boutique first.

He and John, led by Lucius, soon arrived outside Flourish and Blotts Bookstore.

There were far more people going to the bookstore than them. When they arrived, they were surprised to find a large group of people crowded outside the store, and a large banner was pulled out upstairs:

Gilderoy Lockhart

Signed autobiography for sale

"Magical Me"

Today 12:30-4:30 pm

Looking further inside, they could see a man wearing a robe as blue as the forget-me-not flower sitting in the center of the store, surrounded by large photos of himself, the faces in the photos were all winking at the crowd.

He closed his eyes and flashed his dazzlingly white teeth.

"Gilderoy Lockhart!"

John said coldly.

"Your new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is about to take office this year," Lucius said, "Maybe you should go say hello to him and express your respect."

Draco looked a little ready to make a move, while John sneered:

"Is he even worthy?"

Seeing Lucius and Draco looking at him in surprise, John explained:

"He is no longer a writer, but a pure businessman, and the most shameless one.

Just look at our new book catalog this year and you will know. He has set all the Defense Against the Dark Arts textbooks as his own works. There are seven books in total. Each one is worth a lot of money. Almost everyone in Hogwarts needs to buy it.

, how much income do you think this will be?”

Lucius and Draco's expressions finally changed.

That's really a huge number.

It's so huge that even powerful people like the Malfoy family can't look down upon it.

"The most important thing is that Hogwarts has many students from poor families. And in order to make money, he didn't even consider whether these students could afford such a large expenditure on books.

For example, my dear friend, Weasley."

As John spoke, he pointed at Harry, Ron and others in the crowd.

Lucius obviously misunderstood what John meant by 'my dear friend'.

His eyes lit up, he took a few steps forward and said with a gentleman's staff:

"Aaah! My dear friend, Arthur Weasley!"

His sinister tone instantly attracted the attention of the Weasley family and Harry next to him.

"Lucius."

Mr. Weasley nodded coldly and said.

"I heard that my brother is very busy with work," said Mr. Malfoy, "so many checks... I think they paid you overtime?"

As he spoke, he reached into Ginny's cauldron and pulled out a tattered "Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration" from among the brand new and shiny Lockhart books.

"ha!"

Lucius laughed strangely and said, "It seems not. My God, what's the use of being a scum among wizards if you can't even get a good reward?"

Mr. Weasley's face turned red instantly.

He suppressed his anger and said:

"We have very different ideas about what constitutes a scumbag among wizards, Malfoy."

"Perhaps you should ask other people around you. In their eyes, you are probably not only a wizard scum, but also a failed father who cannot even provide the most basic material protection for his children!"

Lucius turned his wrist, flicked his sleeves, and then stuffed the old Transfiguration textbook back into Ginny's cauldron, "Here. Little girl, take your book. This is what your father can give you."

The best thing ever!”

After hearing this, Mr. Weasley finally couldn't bear it anymore.

He lunged at Mr. Malfoy, knocking him against a bookshelf, and dozens of thick spell books fell on their heads.

"Hit him, Dad!"

Draco shouted loudly.

It's a pity that Lucius was not strong enough and was pinned down by Mr. Weasley.

The whole bookstore was in chaos, and Lockhart hid in the back of the bookstore early.

As for the Weasley family, both George and Fred were held tightly by Mrs. Weasley, preventing them from stepping forward to help.

"Hey! Mr. Weasley, please calm down and don't do that! Of course, the same goes for Mr. Malfoy, don't continue to fight!"

When John saw this, a blue light flashed in his eyes, and magic surged throughout his body. As he spoke, he stepped forward and grabbed Mr. Weasley's arm, pulling him back.

This is a very basic method of pulling the frame.

Mr. Weasley was unable to move at this moment, and Lucius, who had found the opportunity, kicked him hard.

Lucius obviously felt that it was not enough and wanted to continue, but was pulled away by John who felt that it was almost done.

Lucius also understood what John meant.

He gave Qing Mimi and John a look of thanks, and then led Draco out of the bookstore first.

John remained in the store, patting the shoe prints on Mr. Weasley's body and saying:

"Are you okay? Mr. Weasley, are you injured?"

"Injured? With Malfoy's little strength, how could it be possible..." Mr. Weasley was mid-sentence when he finally saw John's appearance clearly, "John? It turns out to be you!"

John smiled and nodded.

At this time, Mrs. Weasley finally let go of George and Fred.

The two brothers rushed to John's side immediately and complained:

"Oh! John! Why did you go up and stop him so early? In a little while, our father will give him a good beating..."

"Pah! Pah!"

Mrs. Weasley slapped both brothers hard on the head.

She looked like she was going crazy and yelled:

"What a good leader for the children... fighting in public... what would Gilderoy Lockhart think..."

After catching Mr. Weasley and scolding him for a long time, Mrs. Weasley came back to her senses and said to John with a softer expression:

"John, thank you so much! If it weren't for you, I don't know how this matter would have ended today!"

John smiled wryly and shook his head, looked at Ginny with a wry smile and said:

"Sigh... I don't know what to say. Anyway, I'm very, very sorry!"

Ginny was holding the cauldron and the book with a pale face. She nodded to John and said softly:

"This...this is not your fault."

"Okay, stop talking about this!" George and Fred jumped out again, putting their hands on Ginny's shoulders and showing off, "Master Shafiq, look, this is our little sister, she will be here this year

Went to Hogwarts! Isn’t it cute?”

John smiled and nodded:

"As cute as Michelle."

As soon as this was said, George and Fred were beaming with joy.

John continued to look at Ginny.

To be more precise, he was staring at the cauldron in Ginny's hand.

He had seen clearly before that when Lucius returned the Transfiguration textbook, he also stuffed "Tom Riddle's Diary" into it.

In other words, the diary will go to Hogwarts just like in the original book.

Isn't this just giving him food?

A bright smile broke out on John's face.

He nodded and said decisively:
