Chapter 250 Purple Butterfly

After all this, he had the time to boil water and make a cup of tea for himself, fed Rose a ham sausage, let it lie quietly at his feet, and then sat quietly on the sofa and picked up the original script that Lou Ye gave him.

The binding of the script is very exquisite. The cover of kraft paper is like a thread-bound book. There are brackets under the four large characters "Innocent Molecule" on the cover. The brackets contain three small characters "Purple Butterfly". Judging from the color and the depth of the ink, "Purple Butterfly" is written on the back. Wang Dalun doesn't know what "Purple Butterfly" means, perhaps it is another name of this script. Compared with the straightforward "Innocent Molecule", "Purple Butterfly" seems to have a more romantic atmosphere.

"In 1928, Manchuria Manchu-Manchester Co., Ltd.'s Chinese translator, Eihiko Ida was anxiously waiting for his Chinese lover Ding Hui in the dormitory, because he had just received an order to return to Tokyo."

He took a sip of tea, opened the script and chanted it quietly, and the story began.

The beginning of the story does not happen in Shanghai, but in the Northeast. The love between Ding Hui, a beautiful and simple Northeast girl, and a Japanese clerk, Eihiko Ida, is always so cruel. The Japanese clerk was transferred back to China, and this love naturally ended without success. Tragedies often follow one after another, and Ding Hui witnessed the brother who hosted the anti-Japanese newspaper being assassinated by the Japanese.

Then the plot jumped to Shanghai. On the train, a typical Shanghai Xiao Kele (the meaning of a decent white-collar worker) Situ was mistaken for being a killer because of wearing the wrong suit. When he was confused, the gunshot suddenly burst out. He witnessed his lover Yiling die under the spree. At this time, Ding Hui had grown into a member of the resistance organization, and it was her who killed Xiao Kele's lover by chance.

Like most sixth-generation directors, Lou Ye is also a creative director and writes the scripts himself. He is a professional and well versed in the construction of three-part scripts.

In layman's terms, the three-part structure is the beginning, the middle and the end.

The beginning part is when the author introduces the main characters, and readers or viewers know the main characters, friends, lovers, etc. in this part.

At the end of the beginning, the protagonist should decide what he wants to do, and readers or viewers should also know. For example, Luke, the Skywalker, learned mysterious martial arts from the mysterious old man to avenge his father; the dwarf decided to take a strange ring to the Flame Mountain at this time; neo decided to take red pills at this time, etc.

Of course, if it is realistic, the protagonist faces new challenges due to certain changes, such as changing to a new job, divorce, etc., or psychological changes, such as the protagonist's depression is getting worse and worse, and he finally goes out to buy a pack of rat poison. In short, these changes lead to the first small story.

The first little bit of the opening part of the Lou Ye script is the gunfight at the train station. Little Klestu witnessed his lover Yiling die under Ding Hui's gun, and at the same time he was kidnapped. He could only look at Yiling lying in a pool of blood through the car window, gradually moving away from the chaotic crowd and dense gunfire.

The plot of the middle part often becomes more complicated, usually two, such as Luke, the Skywalker, learned to use the electric lightsaber with Beat, Neo and Touch Rpheus, how to fight in matz, Abao Panda practiced with the master at this stage, etc.

The first is that the protagonist faces the first challenge, which makes the protagonist suffer the first setback. At this time, the protagonist will find that he has embarked on a path of no return. If the protagonist could have chosen to give up before, now he is in a life-and-death situation. The magic necklace that can make the protagonist return to his own world is destroyed, or the protagonist's daughter is captured by a bad guy as a hostage, the gray-robed wizard died in the mines and there is no way back, etc.

The first time is followed by a brief recovery period, and the protagonist begins to reflect, doubt, and be excited again, or the protagonist finds himself in danger and the situation becomes increasingly urgent.

Next is the second one, which should be the protagonist's second setback, or some thrilling revelations, etc. For example, "Luke, I am your father", or "There is no word on the martial arts secret book", or "Agent Smith is actually a virus, and he killed the prophet's old lady", etc.

Lou Ye obviously grasped the setting of the middle plot well: Situ, who received the information in the chaos, was captured by Ehiko Itan, who was already a Japanese spy. Situ was ignorant of all this. Ida learned from the traitors inside the resistance organization that Situ was indeed an unlucky guy who accidentally bumped into him, so he let him go.

The resistance organization believed that the released Situ had become a traitor and wanted to eliminate him. Situ went from an outsider to a deep chaos, and was threatened by the Japanese intelligence agencies and the resistance organization, but it was completely unexplained to either side. However, Yidan met his old lover Ding Hui, and the meeting between the two was discovered by Situ, which made Situ completely confused about what was around him, and he had no goal to avenge Yiling.

For the resistance organization that lost the real killer, they had to complete the plan to assassinate Yamamoto by themselves. Ding Hui, who happened to be in two camps, became an important object that both sides must use to set up plans for each other. In addition, the inner torture of murdering innocent people by mistake, she was also extremely confused.

The ending is the ending, and the last, the most thrilling part, where all the secrets are solved here. Cannon fodder is going to be shot here, and Snepu, who had always thought he was a bad guy, was actually a good person, but it turned out that the godfather was assassinated and was betrayed by his confidant Tesio, etc. The protagonist often faces his biggest challenge or his most terrifying nightmare.

If it is a happy ending, the protagonist will defeat the bad guys, achieve his goals, and achieve self-growth through this adventure. If it is a tragic and comedy ending, the protagonist will not be able to achieve his goals, but he will still be able to grow and improve in this experience and understand himself more. If it is a tragic ending, the protagonist will not only fail to achieve his goals, but his self will also be destroyed.

Obviously, like Lou Ye's usual style, whether it is the lovers or Suzhou River on the previous weekends, they are all tragedies. Of course, this script is no exception. After all, only tragedy is eternal in this world.

Ding Hui followed Yidan to the Japanese club to attend the party, and the two hugged each other and danced. Yidan told Ding Hui that Yamamoto would not come, and Xie Ming would not come, he was already dead. Ding Hui was shocked, and then Situ broke into the dance hall, shot Yidan, and turned the gun and pointed it at Ding Hui.

In fact, most movies may be of this kind of three-part structure. The structure of Hollywood movies is more strict, and there will often be a small ending after the end. For example, the prince and the princess live happily together; the warrior defeats the dragon and brings peace to the country; the strong woman finally realizes the importance of family and love and begins to care more about her children and husbands; Luke becomes an excellent Jedi; through the sacrifice of Neo, humans live peacefully with Mat Sun X; the ring is destroyed, the dwarf sails with the elves, etc.

Lou Ye's ending is just one sentence: On July 7, 1937, the War of Resistance Against Japan broke out in full swing, and since then China fell into an eight-year arduous war of resistance.

Let me add one more sentence here. Many of the Internet also follow a three-stage structure - introducing characters, analyzing problems, and resolving contradictions. It is very interesting if you understand it.

If you are a girl, don’t always worry about those princes when you see them clearly. If you are a boy, don’t worry about the plot arrangement and story structure, you may be able to achieve twice the result with half the effort. If you are a boy, don’t worry about other people’s writing styles. As long as you meet the three-part style, it will make you feel good enough and you won’t feel uncomfortable at all.

In fact, our lives are full of three-stage bodies, and we live a three-stage life: childhood ignorance - hard work in middle age - sitting in old age.

Okay, I'm going to go back to the point.

The script is very long, but the dialogue is surprisingly small. Lou Ye uses long passages to describe every detail of old Shanghai in the 1930s, and even to the pull-up wooden window of Yiling's house through a fine iron fence.

It is precisely because of the meticulousness that when Wang Dalun reads the script, the scenes described in the script will naturally appear in his mind. For example, the plot when the traitor and Itan exchange information, it should be a long shot, passing by the streets through the glass, passers-by, vendors, trams, etc. The camera hit the back of the traitor's head and Yidan's face through these layers of barriers. At this moment, Wang Dalun's ear seemed to be faintly hearing the background sound full of urban atmosphere.

This seems to be a dream of Lou Ye, a dream of old Shanghai that blends reality and illusion, and a dream of despair and hope coexist.

But at the same time, Wang Dalun also understood why the relevant departments revised the scripts again and again, not just deliberately looking for trouble, but also teaching them the rules. Just the script, from the perspective of the relevant departments, there are indeed too many problems and obscureness.

From the weekend lover to Suzhou River, Louye has a bad nickname: Director Wet. Director Wet is naturally a wet movie. Between Ding Hui and Yidan, between Ding Hui and Xie Ming, between Situ and Yiling, are filled with various passionate scenes.

Of course, this is not the most serious. The most serious is that the nature of the resistance organization is unclear. However, with Wang Dalun's superficial historical knowledge and the influence of various anti-Japanese dramas in his previous life, it can be basically seen that the nature of this resistance organization should be the Military Control Commission, not the underground organization of our party. This is a serious erroneous butt, a serious error in direction, and seriously does not conform to the spirit of Taizu's speech at that time - art serves politics. After all, around the history of the Anti-Japanese War, the two parties have been scrambling to gild their faces.

But from a purely artistic perspective, these are secondary. In fact, this is a love story from a war era, a story of love and revolution. The revolution is questioned in love and stifled in the revolution.

What's more, Lou Ye also gave a nice code name for the resistance organization - Purple Butterfly.

Situ is an innocent character. His girlfriend was killed, he was involved in the revolution and was eventually killed. The originally happy couple was destroyed by the revolution.

Ding Hui is an innocent character. Her brother was killed by Japanese radical nationalists. She joined the anti-Japanese organization to assassinate the Japanese, and finally ruined her love and her life.

If you analyze every character in the script carefully, it seems that everyone is innocent, everyone is helpless and painful. Everyone can have love, but everyone cannot get love because the revolution ruins everything.

In fact, compared to the romantic name Purple Butterfly, the straightforward innocent elements can better reflect the theme of the script.

Although the script still has the problem of not being recognized by mainstream domestic society in this way or that, as far as the script itself is concerned, if the movie can be shot in its original form, Wang Dalun believes that at least he will not have to be distracted in the future, and the plot will be much more tortuous than the storm.

When Wang Dalun was in school, he hated Mr. Lu Xun extremely. Every sentence, every word, and even every word in his article represented a confusing meaning. But when he finished reading the script, he had to think of a passage from Mr. Lu Xun: Revolution, no revolution. The revolutionary ones were killed, the ones were killed in the revolution, the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, or the ones were killed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed in the revolution, the ones were destroyed

When I was in school, I always thought that Mr. Lu Xun was a great writer, but from the perspective of the present, Mr. Lu Xun was more like an angry young man and a big v. Thinking about it now, Mr. Lu Xun was also lucky to live in that era when there was no title. If he lived in the present, he would have been arrested long ago.

Wang Dalun looked out the window of the balcony, and before he knew it, night had already fallen.

"Fuck!"

He suddenly jumped up from the sofa, and forgot to put the sheets in it even though they were still hanging outside.

I hang it for an afternoon. Although the sheets were dry, there was always dew when it was dark. I could only hang them on the balcony temporarily and then the sun came out tomorrow and then the sun was completely exposed.

It was already past seven o'clock, and my girlfriend would definitely not come back for dinner like this. The vegetables I bought yesterday morning were still in the refrigerator's refrigerator. He picked them up and frozen fish and meat, and vegetables that could not be frozen. He simply fryed two of them and treated the supper with sloppy.

He originally wanted to call his girlfriend, but then he thought that when he came to her relatives these days, his emotions would definitely not be too stable, and he might have to start arguing again.

He couldn't help but yawn, thinking about it, let's forget it. He didn't sleep well last night and was confused until the early morning for less than two hours. After watching the script, he felt an extremely unbearable feeling of sleepiness coming, so he took a shower and went to bed early.
