Must see before reading
"Breaking Time and Space" has been published, but the plots in it have also been questioned by many readers. The following are typical problems, and I will explain them one by one.
The first problem is the problem of the genius school. Many people believe that since it is in a highly democratic social system, the so-called genius is a white rat is simply impossible to achieve.
Here I will explain that the so-called geniuses described at the beginning of this book have always referred to geniuses in practice. Unless otherwise specified, they will refer to others. And ordinary geniuses in practice are also talents with excellent physical fitness and various aspects (specifically refer to human physiological quality). To improve the overall quality of human beings, these people are the best research objects.
In addition, the so-called research is not about dissection of them, but about scientific and reasonable observation and analysis. In fact, students from genius schools are treated very well, not people who are persecuted. I hope everyone understands this.
Naturally, there are many geniuses from other disciplines in society, which is normal. Some medical geniuses are likely to be people involved in the research, but they are not explained in detail in the book.
As for the protagonist's unwillingness to be a white mouse, it is purely because of the psychological shadows caused by his father when he was young and he was born. There is no special reason.
In fact, many works have similar settings. In the movie "Starry Team", it is much more harsh than this if it is not a soldier or even without citizenship. Since it is a novel, there is no need to go into it so deeply.
The second question is that the protagonist often learns from all kinds of people. Some readers ask this question, since he is a genius, how can he not even know these basic things and be enlightened by others.
What I want to say is, again, the genius in this book refers specifically to the genius of practice, and refers to talents with particularly excellent physical fitness and other human physiological qualities. It does not mean that they are geniuses in all aspects.
Moreover, even a genius is only specializing in a certain aspect. There are sequences of hearing and Taoism and profession. No one is proficient in everything. It is said that he is proficient in everything. That is not a genius, that is a liar.
In reality, I have seen several physics and mathematics geniuses I have heard of, all of them are called out in their professional fields, but in reality, they are not even able to take care of themselves, and they need other people to take care of them. Einstein is often sloppy, and Hawking still needs others to take care of them, but they cannot be said to be not geniuses.
Therefore, it is normal for the protagonist to learn from people's strengths in some aspects, and there is no need to say that the protagonist is not a so-called genius because of this.
The third question is a plot. When Zhao Li first entered prison, there was a battle with Sanders. During the competition, Sanders was dissatisfied and said it was unfair. So the protagonist tried his best to create a fair environment to compete with Sanders until he defeated Sanders.
This plot has been criticized by many readers. Everyone generally believes that since it is a novel, there is no such idiotic protagonist, who gives up his own advantages and fights against the enemy. Moreover, many people basically see this place and say that they will give up and continue reading.
I can only say that this should be read in context. First of all, the premise of this incident is that Zhao Li knew about the accident at home and was stimulated by the old warden. He was extremely psychologically suppressed and needed to vent, so he did this behavior.
After all, all the fights are just an vent for the protagonist. Taking down an opponent easily does not necessarily achieve the purpose of venting. It is not until the situation where face-to-face, punching and hitting people at the same time, that the protagonist truly vents his emotions. Some people may think that knocking others is venting, but in fact, knocking down a weak enemy will not be vented. Even if you kill ten thousand ants, it may not necessarily achieve the purpose of venting, right?
Therefore, this cannot be said to be an idiot in the protagonist and he has to give up his own advantages. It’s just that such a plot appears at this time and needs to be vented.
People are young and frivolous, and they are also passionate, and they are also uneasy when encountering things. The protagonist is not born to be a stereotype, and always needs a normal development process. I hope everyone understands it.
