Chapter 23 You're Broken

On the first day of the month, Bai Wanwan passed the report to the company and there was no work to do.

She stayed in the office with the others, watching videos on the computer.

This is something that is not in line with the company's rules.

So when Sun Cong'an suddenly came over, Bai Wanwan and others hurriedly turned off the computer interface.

The rushing guilty actions did not escape Sun Cong'an's sight.

However, Sun Cong'an did not make trouble because of this little thing this time, but just called Bai Wanwan out alone and asked in a low voice: "Have the report been sent back to the company?"

Bai Wanwan unconsciously pursed her lips and nodded without saying a word.

"What did I do when I came back last night?"

Bai Wanwan still pursed her lips and shook her head as if she was thinking.

"Don't know or don't want to say it?"

Bai Wanwan let go of her lips and replied in a silence: "I don't know, I saw that you were drunk, so I left directly."

"I clearly remember that I was chatting with you."

Bai Wanwan curled her lips: "You're broken."

Sun Cong'an glanced at her gently and said nothing.

My intuition was that something happened that made Bai Wanwan difficult to speak. Even if she continued to ask questions, she would definitely be embarrassed to speak out that grievance.

Did he scold her for being an airborne soldier and asked her to get out of office?

Sun Cong'an frowned and began to carefully recall the fragmented details.

After spending most of the day leisurely, when it was nearly 4:30 pm, Bai Wanwan received a call from her best friend.

"Wanwan, I'll come to see you!"

Bai Wanwan did not stay at the project department for dinner, but instead asked the van driver to take him to the city to meet his best friend.

After not seeing each other for many days, Bai Wanwan and her best friend hugged each other warmly, took her hands and went directly to a famous Sichuan restaurant in the city, ordered a table of dishes that matched the taste, and chatted while eating.

"How about it, can you adapt to work?" My best friend poured Bai Wanwan a cup of sour plum soup.

My best friend asked her about her recent situation a lot, and Bai Wanwan just answered her a few words.

My best friend kept picking up food for Bai Wanwan: "Look, you are tired and lost. Is the food in the project department bad? "

"It's okay, I can still eat small foods occasionally."

"What kind of small stomp?"

Bai Wanwan talked about the fact that he went to Sun Cong'an to make a living.

My best friend nodded and said lightly: "I heard from my handsome man that he is indeed good at cooking."

"Your handsome guy has eaten it?"

"When they lived on campus, they would always cook secretly, and Sun Cong'an was the chef." My best friend thought for a while and added: "His family used to run a hotel."

As she was talking, Bai Wanwan's cell phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and it was Sun Cong'an.

After hurriedly swallowing the vegetables in his mouth, Bai Wanwan "feeded" the microphone.

The other party's tone was a little gloomy: "Are you not in the project department?"

"Well, my friend is here to see me."

"Why don't you tell me in advance?"

Is it time to get off work now?

Bai Wanwan drank a drink as a cover-up to prevent her best friend from noticed something strange, and her face remained as if nothing had happened.

"Oh, my phone is out of power."

Sun Cong'an had a slow breathing sound. He paused and his attitude improved: "It's good that you're safe." His tone rose and said lightly: "By the way, I remember what I told you last night."
